Kinda a weird spot to be in, written in 2004. Lacks a little bit of context, and I didn’t like the fact that the 2001 accident wasn’t discussed until late. Otherwise, a good overview of Dale Jr’s career up until 2004.

as always being a fan of Dale since i was a little boy, i love about anything to do with Earnhardt. the book was okay. in the past i have read better biographies that described more detail about Dale and the tragic and the man he was outside the race track. the book touched base on these things but overall it was good. i give a 3 star rating.
