Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the son of the legendary race card driver Dale Earnhardt Sr. Everyone from his family to racing fans were sure that Dale Jr. would also become a race car driver. They were sure he would follow in his father's footsteps. But then, Dale Earnhardt Sr. was killed in a tragic crash during a NASCAR race.
