Mr. Krabs adds a drive thru to the Krusty Krab. He tells Spongebob not to touch the headset because Spongebob is a cook and he is needed at the grill. Then Spongebob is left to clean and close up. Patrick drops in and convinces Spongebob to touch the headset... and that's when he hears a customer at the window. He decides to "do his duty" and start serving food. Patrick is helping...by eating the orders as they come out. The eels on wheels convention is in town and they get impatient waiting on food. They start chanting for their Krabby patties which wakes up Mr. Krabs. Spongebob apologizes (over the top) but Mr. Krabs calls him a genius. Mr. Krabs "lets" Spongebob work the grill and the window.
Good reader for lower grades. ~4 lines of text per page with art consistent to the tv show. Art on every page.... illustrations match the text well. My only regret is that the art is greyscale and not full color in the e-book. It makes sense to print physical copies in black and white, and while I know it costs money to color all the illustrations, it would have been super cute.
I’m obsessed with SpongeBob and have always been a huge fan! I was really excited to find out that there were books I could borrow on the Libby app so I downloaded 10 immediately lol. I did find a couple mistakes in the writing as if there wasn’t an editor and it just was slapped together quickly but besides that I enjoyed the short time it took to read this! So nostalgic and humorous!
on this episode of things I found on Libby... Rating this 3 stars simply because I am a Spongebob purist and the original drive thru episode lives rent free in my mind 24/7. I really liked the art though. Since I read this on Kindle, I'm not sure if it was supposed to be in color, but even in black and white it was super cute
