The main story here is kind of hilarious: Zeus sending three of his daughters (Muses) to earth in a last effort to try and redeem themselves. Apparently there are three books in this series and this is the third, which I didn't know. I don't think I've missed much though.
This book focuses on Zoe, the Muse of Beauty. She is sent to New York, where she meets Theo Maragos, a computer nerd. And Hunk of course, beneath his scruffy appearance. It's a romance after all. And of course Zoe and Theo fall in love. Like I said, it's a romance. There's enough humor in the book, with references to Martha Stewarts and whatnot, but that didn't make up for the weak elements. My biggest gripe was with Zoe whom I didn't like all that much. I mean, she's described as full-figured, so that's at least something to like. But her character is kind of bland. You couldn't pick her out of a line-up of romance female leads is what I'm saying. Theo is a bit of a cliché as well; the nerd who turns out to be a hunk and all that. The B-plot of both of their friends falling in love as well was distracting and didn't add much to the story.

I expected this book to be cute and diverting, and it absolutely delivered! While the Greek mythology slant added nothing to the plot, it was fine (more "whatever" than anything else). Overall, the premise is silly, but I'm hardly expecting Dickens in this kind of Lit. For what it is, it's fun.
The characters were likable, the B-love story was engaging, and the pacing was snappy. Hermes was an especial favorite of mine, however briefly he appeared. The wrap-up was satisfying as well.
I recommend to fans looking for a diverting romance contemporary romance.

I liked this book, but it was definitely the weakest of the trilogy.
I loved the twist that Theo I also loved how this one's ending differed a bit from the first two, and how the epilogue wrapped up the trilogy by showing what happened to all three of the sisters after Zeus's evaluations.
On the other hand, Zoe and Theo's relationship moved a bit too quickly for my liking. Don't get me wrong, they made a cute couple and their love scenes were hot, but Theo fell for Zoe after knowing her only for a couple of days. Granted, Zoe and her sister muses had had only a couple of weeks with their respective love interests, but the other two really didn't feel rushed like this one did. Of course, it didn't help that too much time was taken up by Chad and Elise's burgeoning relationship, especially given how rude she was to him when they'd first met and how wary she was of him during most of their courtship. Another complaint I have, minor though it may be, was Theo's supposedly magical ring; I mean, it was never really explained what precisely it's supposed to do.

I'll start off saying this is the 3rd book & I didn't know that when I started reading it. I may have missed something by not reading the first 2 books but I don't think so. The big difference in this book is that it's about the muse of beauty who is sent to earth by zeus for punishment. She is on earth for 1yr to prove herself. But she is not allowed to fall in love but of course she does (not a shock since it's a romance). Zoe is an ok character she is cute when she is with Theo (male lead) but when she is with her earthly bff she is a *itch. ex: Elise comes over for dating advice & after only 2 paragraphs Zoe tells Elise "it's late you should go" really? You'd kick out your only friend after 2 minutes? She is not nice to anyone except Theo when it comes down to it. Theo is sweet. He needs to be made over for a photo shoot to enhance his new company but he has a surprise of his own (I figured it ou real fast). Not sure I will buy the 1st 2 books unless they are a $1 like this was.

This was a cute book. I really enjoyed the Greek God aspect. The romance between the two leads is very sweet and cute, and I liked that there wasn't the typical disagreement/break-up at the end. Distracting from the book was the male friendship relationship between the hero and his best friend, as well as the female friendship between the heroine and her friend. Dialogue seemed forced. There was also a secondary romance between the two H/H best friends that was just OK.

I bought this book by accident, but it turned out to be a pretty good read. I thought the two main characters were adorable, and I figured that they were both hiding the similar secrets. The end was really cheesy, but I was expecting that.

Another 3.5 stars for the last book in the trilogy. I'm glad the ending was a bit different than the other two, otherwise they would have all been exactly the same except for location and character names. LOL I still enjoyed them all very much.

I really enjoyed meeting Judy at Romantic Times last year, and her book was equally enjoyable. A nice lighthearted paranormal about greek gods and goddesses. Very enjoyable!
