Lots of theory and structured learning about the development of baby’s. Not a lot of new knowledge.

A lot of this is common sense that parents quickly come to recognize. But in writing, and with interpretation, the patterns of development are more obvious. Even after working in this field, I picked up a few tidbits of valuable info.

Unfortunately, the people who most need to read a book such as this one probably won't.

Fascinating account of how babies learn to speak and how we can help them learn.
