Suji is one of the most compelling villains I've read in a long time

Everyone in this is insane aside from like 3 characters. This story genuinely felt like a character study on trauma family and love!! So many manhwas romantice abusive or toxic relationships, so it was refreshing to see how real this one was. Like, so they end up together, but I'm not mad bc how things end up is still not the traditional happy end ever where there absolute 0 accountability and swlf awarness . Suji and yeon o relationship dynamic really reminds me of Amy dunne and Nicholas' relationship from Gone Girl. Like they really are each other's equals for better or worse( worse).
My shalyals suho and inhye, the only mentally sane couple. They were genuinely so kind and supportive of each other. One of my fav opposites attracts couples ! The contrast between them and the Mc couple is crazyyy.
The ultimate villain is suji and suho dad. He is actually evil but so well written. He's not ove dimensional but like morally deplorable but so intestesting. He's an abusive patriarch, and they way he treats each of his family members, especially his son, like wonder suji turned out the was she did. Just creating generational traumaaa. I feel so sorry for their mom like she just wanted tk dance and support her mom and got pulled unto this sick motherfucker shenanigans. I'm glad she still tried her best to love her family and she ended up with a bunch of money.Also I'm so glad ayeong ended up as a childcare teacher o feel like that's so healing for her and she deserved a fresh start.
Also, I feel like suji kinda lost her oomph near the end of the series like.... aside from when she did she did like that was a slayyyy
Anyway this deffos one of best mahwas I've read and I don't really read a lot of modern manhwa.....

love the art style, illustrations, and cover page art in every chapter <3 the backstories of the characters were entertaining and I enjoyed watching pretty suji manipulate everything👍
despite how woobin tricks all those women in the beginning he's actually very innocent and naive. tbh 70% of the reason why I'm reading this is because of the art and suji because girl is so pretty🥰
also that author afterword is one of the most entertaining and cute afterwords I've ever read😭 author being relatable fr

Este tomo lo único que estuvo bien fue el final del libro, webtoon latam no tiene la temporada dos por lo que no podré leerlo 🥲 pero les juro que era la mejor parte de la historia.
Webtoon inglés tiene la T2 pero en goodreads no está 🫠. Ojalá vuelva, porque necesito respuestas, no más preguntas.

Todavía me sorprenden los giros de trama.
