Alpha's Mate Doesn't Know: Part 1
Letting the big coal-black wolf support her weight, the blonde girl leans back against his chest. The moonlight illuminates the hilltop where the two relaxed, away from all the burden of the world. "You know...", Olivia smiles as she runs her pale long fingers through the beast's coat, "Your fur is so soft...so shiny..." The female giggles as she hears his big tail wagging behind them. Biting her lip, she speaks, "You...remind me of someone... You remind me of this guy I recently met... Kaden..." The wolf's ears perk up and he looks at her intently with his red fiery eyes. "Being around him..", she continues, "..brings butterflies in my stomach."
The creature's tail goes still as he listens to her. "Sometimes I feel like...Kaden is my soulmate.", the female reveals.
"We ARE your soulmate...", both the wolf and Kaden whine in sync but unfortunately, their voice doesn't reach the female through the mind link.

The Phoenix looks at you, trying to decipher the mystery of your presence. With its red beady eyes, it asks why you are here when you refuse to respond. Instead, you stare back in silence, waiting for the phoenix to unravel the mystery.
After some moments, the phoenix sighs and turns back, its sharp beak turning the quill to add more to the story it has been working on, its brilliant fiery red feathers ruffled as it continues to write. Many of your questions remain unanswered but you do know that the author's name is Eli Blake. Though you can't yet tell whether that makes Eli male or female, you're confident that the author will be fun to cuddle with and ruffle its feathers.

Fantastic. I have been waiting to read this since I read the Trilogy about Daniel and I absolutely wanted to know Olivia and Kaden's story which sounded very captivating, and it is.
Eli's writing is super clear, emotional and easy to read to me so I loved how the characters were introduced and described and I was immediately pulled into the emotions of Olivia and Kaden's encounter. Wow the moment their eyes met for the first time, the pull of their bond was so strong even without Olivia knowing she's a wolf, not knowing about fated mates.
The entire story in this part is very intense with Olivia trying to navigate unknown feelings while having a human boyfriend and Kaden fighting his urge to be with her. I particularly loved the moments between Olivia and Kai, Kaden's wolf <3
I can't wait to read part 2, I expect them to still go through a lot!
