Myles Parker is just an ordinary builder in his town of Willow Creek. His life is mundane, simple and far from special. The only thing that made it special is his wife, Betty.
However, all of that is about to change.
On a fateful Sunday, a notorious gang called The Bronze Boys rob the local church during a service, killing several people. One of the victims turns out to be Betty.
Myles wants justice. But above all, he is waging a personal vendetta against The Bronze Boys.
Myles may not have been a lawman or a bounty hunter. All he has is his determination, his Colt Paterson and a box of ammunition.
On his journey along the Great Plains of Oregon, Myles never once lose sight of his duty to get justice for his wife.
Each novel in the Western Frontier Justice War series is a standalone story that can be read out of order.
The Bronze Boys could almost be likeable, if they didn't go around killing people who got in their way. Albie, the leader of the outlaw pack did just that when they kill Betty, Myles Parker's wife, when they burn down the church in Willow Creek. Myles is going to hunt them down and kill them. You probably remember Gabriel from Brothers. He is a bounty hunter who can't decide if money is more important than justice. He is about to find out.. Plenty of action as the two chase the band all over Oregon on the way to an exciting conclusion.
Much tension between the main characters, lots of opportunities for everything to go wrong and the satisfaction of a happier ending than expected makes for an enjoyable read.
