A little white dog, named popcorn, wanted to be a firehouse dog more than anything. He went to the firehouse almost daily and wanted black spots like regular firehouse dogs. One of the fireman joked with him and said you get spots for every fire. Popcorn didn't know it was a joke and so for every fire he ran in to help, but he got no spots. Popcorn learns a lesson, you don't have to look a certain way to help. I thought this book has a great lesson to it and its a fun story. Im sure kids will love it, even though it is an older book.
