I read this book with my 5 year old daughter and she enjoyed the story.
She does attend a Catholic school and has learnt about Jesus and the 12 disciples and what happened so the book was a story that she was aware if and they have talked about it in their RE lessons and in Collective Worship
The illustrations in the book are ok, I didn’t think they were particularly special and I didn’t really like that the text was placed over the writing at times which did make some of the sentences and words harder to read – not ideal for first and younger readers.
The positive message that the author was trying to portray did come through though
It is 3.5 stars from me for this one, rounds up to 5 stars for the story - good idea but I wasn’t a huge fan of the execution (no pun intended)

Sweet Christian Story
This was a very sweet and endearing story about a bunny family going to an Easter celebration but they learned that Easter is about so much more than scavenger hunts and treats. It's about the sacrifice Jesus made for human kind. Wonderful story for they young children to help them understand why we really celebrate Easter.

The visuals impressed me more than the story.
The images are childish and naive but very innocent - they are simply lovely.
The story is about the significance of Easter.
It is simple - may be too simple.
Instead of becoming the ultimate show of love, the majority of the book is a not-very-exciting lecture on Jesus's life and death - in brief.
I know, it is not easy to tell a gentle kid-friendly Easter story and help young readers understand it without inculcating fear about torture, death, and rising from the dead...although the author tried her best.

A wonderful Easter story for children. Boba, Binky, and Bruno bunnies can’t wait for the annual Easter hunt. Before the big hunt they hear all about Jesus and his love for the world. This story is a great introduction to the Jesus story for kids. Wonderful pictures and great read.

Cute story to teach the kids about the real meaning of Easter
I like how the protagonists are bunnies that were enjoying an Easter hunt, it's a very cute way of introducing the concept of Easter to little kids who only know of Easter as eggs hunts and chocolates and not understand the true origins of Easter from a Christian point of view.

Happy Easter
Bunnies are a universal symbol of Easter. For Christians, they still hunt for eggs but they make sure the story of Jesus on the cross is told to the congregation every year.
The author retold the story using a bunny. Nice choice for a narrator!
Jesus's sacrifice is a story I'd would share with first graders and up - even if it was told by a rabbit.

Wonderful book to read with your children
I read this book with my 3 years old daughter and she was intrigued with the cute illustrations. This book teaches about the death and resurrection of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. If you're looking for a book on the above topic, this is a perfect pick.

Perfect for Teaching the True Meaning of Easter!
This book is perfect for young readers! It shares the story of Easter in a simple, touching way that kids can easily understand. My children loved the adorable bunnies and their exciting adventures, but I especially appreciated the deeper lesson about Jesus and the love He gives. A wonderful read for Easter!

Beautiful children's book
This beautiful storybook teaches young readers the joy of Easter and why we really celebrate. The message of Jesus and his love for us is so important for children to learn. Using adorable bunnies as characters to tell the story is perfect. Wonderful bedtime story as well.

A SPECIAL BOOK & MESSAGE!
We enjoyed both the story and illustrations! This will be a children's story that we revisit often (not just at Easter). I feel that this book will help my students better understand the meaning of Easter and the ever-present access they have to LOVE!

Cute Faith Book
The author did a very nice job of explaining the true meaning of Easter in a way that children will easily understand. The bunnies are cute and the story is inspiring. I would definitely recommend this book for young children!

A great read
This was a great read, especially since Easter is coming soon. I love stories like this, true and understandable for kids. This will be a nice addition to my church's children church training. Well written!!

This new book blends perfectly all that kids love about Easter with the true meaning of Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection! A must have for Christian families! I cannot wait to read it to my K class at school!

I enjoyed reading it and yes in the middle it was sad but i am happy the bunnies were happy at the end and felt grateful for friends, family and home.
