The best of Disney's adventure films comes alive in a collection of seventeen swashbuckling and action-packed stories, with exciting scenes from Tarzan, Toy Story 2, Dinosaur, and Robin Hood.
Great book to use when exploring adventure texts with your class. The fact that it is Disney allows the class to identify the characters and recognise them. It may also help them understand who is the villain and who is the hero. The settings and characters included are also great to grab the attention of the whole class as they include animals, people etc. The fact that there is more than one story also ensures that pupils can identify the structure of an adventure text by looking at the separate narratives, aiding them in their own writing.
This book is perfect for Disney fans! Especially for bedtime stories. Each story is pretty short that way there’s more room for more stories. There are a few stories in here that I haven’t seen the movies of yet but I was still able to follow along and it made me want to watch it after. A lot of familiar favorites are in here!
A fun, concise, collection of Disney stories that includes more than just the staples. Good for kids to get familiar with a wider range of Disney films outside the direct "classics", like Dinosaur and The Black Cauldron.
