This is an overview of the American War of Independence from the point of view of the Loyalists (obviously) with a concentration on the uniforms and equipment of those men and units. I had heard years ago that loyalties in America were equally divided among Loyalists and Patriots (or rebels as the King called them) fighting in what was a civil war, and those who just wanted to be left alone. This small tract seems to reinforce that view with the statement that Washington had 9000 effectives when the Crown had around 8000 Loyalist militia at one point. This is a nice introduction into the losing side of the American Revolutionary war.
Brief overview of the various Loyalist units and the military actions they took part in. While less focused on uniforms than other Men-at-Arms books, it still doesn't go into a lot of detail about the Loyalists.
