Opposites attract in this enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy of feuding neighbors and dueling hearts from the author of The Rom-Com Agenda.
Gillian has been happily divorced for several years and, after trying a few dating apps, prefers to stay that way. Navigating her way through dates with fat shamers and lackluster men has left her with no desire to do anything other than work in her garden in her spare time. Who needs rude comments and awkward first-date conversation when soft roses and vibrant tulips are so much better?
Noah West has just moved to Willow Cove. After a rough breakup that leaves him looking to get far away, he relocates to the same small town he spent summers in as a teen―and moves right next door to Gillian. A big believer in minimalist design and that the best kind of plants are non-flowering, he knows as soon as he meets his neighbor that they are going to clash on just about everything. Now if only he could keep his eyes off her too. That might be helpful.
When a gardening contest brings out the competition in Gillian and Noah, dueling plant arrangements and fiery banter ensues. But is it possible that beneath all their differences, they might just be perfect for each other?
Jayne Denker is the author of closed-door, low-spice romantic comedies. When she's not hard at work on another novel (or, rather, when she should be hard at work on another novel), she can usually be found frittering away stupid amounts of time on social media. Check in with her on Facebook (“Jayne Denker Author”), Twitter (@JDenkerAuthor), Instagram (@JayneDenkerAuthor), or her blog, jaynedenker.com.
I liked this fine until we got to the second or third 'I might be fat but it's ok because I'm healthy.' Obviously I agree fatness isn't an indicator of health. But also, fat people who aren't healthy deserve to be happy and to not have their eating criticized from a partner who supposedly loves them (or anyone for that matter). So like, it was halfway there, but Gillian would be just as worthy of love if she had diabetes or didn't 'walk all the time' as the MMC points out.
A lovely, small-town, closed door romance with an enemies-to-lovers plot!
This was my first work by Jayne Denker (who apparently specializes in low-spice romcoms) and I found it to be a cute and entertaining read. Our protagonists start off on the wrong foot when new house owner, Noah West moves next door to the strong-willed and opinionated Gillian Pritchard and (unintentionally) ruins a part of the garden she'd been working on for the local gardening competition. But as time passes and fiery banter is exchanged between the two characters, sparks fly as well. And well, it's tough avoiding anyone in a small, quaint town like Willow Cove.
There were a lot of colorful side characters introduced throughout the book. From Gillian's big group of friends, to the small coup of old, nosy ladies heavily interested in the characters' love lives, to Gillian's many, many online dates. I believe some of those characters were introduced in Jayne's earlier work "The Rom-Com Agenda" so I'd recommend reading that first to not get overwhelmed with the sudden influx of people (like I was).
While being delightful, I didn't find it to be exceptional or unique in most ways. The hatred the two characters seemed to have had for each other felt a bit far-fetched and a lot of the story-line was spent on the two being in denial over their feelings for each other. Still, it was a cute and enjoyable read for anyone looking for a sweet rom-com!
Thank you to Netgalley & St. Martin's Press for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Gillian is comfortable with her life after 5 years divorced, but wouldn't say no to finding that someone special. After many disastrous dates via dating apps she's happy to work in her garden with her eye on winning the local gardening competition.
Noah has recently moved to town after a devastating break-up and decides the fixer-upper he has bought, sight unseen, is exactly what he needs to keep him busy. When he has an altercation with fiery neighbour Gillian, over a border hedge he removed, he knows she is trouble but he can't keep his mind off her.
I loved this sweet, slow-burn rom-com. It's probably You is filled with down-to-earth, relatable characters. Gillian is confident, smart, funny and sexy. We see Noah's confident side but not around Gillian. She undoes him and enjoys pushing his buttons. I enjoyed the matchmaking trio of elderly women neighbours who weren't reticent in giving advice to Noah and eavesdropping whenever they got the chance. A vast array of supporting characters add plenty of humour and drama to the plot.
It's Probably You ticks all the boxes for the perfect beach read this summer. It is a sweet, slow-burn, closed-door, small town romance with a curvy female main character and an enemies to lovers trope.
If you are after a book that will leave you smiling long after you have read the last page you can't go past It's Probably You by Jayne Denker *I received my copy from the publisher
There is nothing I love more than a closed-door, truly funny, rom-com, and Hedging Your Bets by Jayne Denker completely delivered. I loved the various characters in the book, especially Gillian's 3 older neighbors Carol, Arnette, and Judy. These women were hilarious and delivered lots of comic relief to the storyline, not that anything ever got *too* serious. The viewpoints alternate between Gillian and her neighbor Noah, and this story was perfection on audiobook! Katelyn Levering narrates our FMC while Nick Mondelli narrates our MMC, and together they really brought these characters to life for me.
I kinda loved that the rivalry between the two characters is based on a gardening competition, and sometimes the way Noah acted was just so eye roll inducing, that he seemed like a kid acting out. Especially when he pulls out a bunch of bushes and so ensues the love/hate feud between himself and Gillian. I could have done without some of that, but overall, I still generally enjoyed him as a character, and they definitely made for a cute pairing in the end. I would have loved some more characterization and depth to the story, but overall Hedging Your Bets was sweet and fun, and I would give it a read if you are in the mood for something light.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Gillian Pritchard has been single for five years and, her friends think she should start dating and she’s tries online. After chatting to the men and texting, she goes on dinner and coffee dates. What a disaster, she discovers the men seem fine on their profile, it's a different story when she meets them, they have no personality, lack basic manners and conversation skills and some don’t like women with a few curves.
Gillian is a pharmacist in Willow Cove, she knows about food, nutrition, her doctor has pronounced her perfectly healthy, she’s a normal sized women and comfortable in her own skin. Gillian loves gardening, she decides to devote her time to winning the local contest and she’s tired of always coming third.
Noah West moves to Willow Cove after his relationship ends, he has fond memories of spending the summers here with his Uncle Manny as a teenager and he buys a house next door to Gillian. she's mad when her new neighbour stars changing things on their shared boundary, without asking, the stubborn man has no idea what he’s doing in his garden and when she needs to stay focused. It’s hard with Noah driving her crazy, he witnesses a couple of her humiliating dates, she can't stop thinking about him and could her Mr Right be living next door?
I received a digital copy of It’s Probably You by Jayne Denker from Simon & Schuster Australia and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. A funny and entertaining story about the perils of online dating, both main characters struggled after their long term relationships ended and I laughed out loud at the odd actions of her Gillian’s potential suitors.
The narrative looks at relevant topics such as body-shaming, taking advice from someone who knows what they’re talking about, think before you do something and don't make rash decisions, creating a beautiful garden is hard work and rewarding, and a bit like a successful romantic relationship. I'm keen to peruse other books by Ms. Denker, three and a half stars from me, a quick and humorous read.
This was an compelling novel. I liked the romance, but it wasn't something that I have not read before. That being said, it was a good enough romance and I would still recommend it to someone looking for a book with this plot line.
A special thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press & Wednesday Books for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
When I finished The Rom-Com Agenda last year, I wanted to read more novels featuring the supporting characters from that story. Well, Jayne Denker delivered with Hedging Your Bets, which features Leah's friend Gillian.
This was a sweet story overall. I don't like gardening but this novel made it seem interesting, at least, and it made me appreciate the gardening and planting that my husband and kids have been doing. I enjoyed seeing both Gillian and Noah's perspectives and wondering if they would ever admit that they liked each other more than they were letting on. The nosy neighbors were a lot of fun and they almost need their own book, which would be akin to The Golden Girls. I appreciate that Jayne addressed body image in this novel. Gillian felt relatable in that way.
My main concern was that it felt like the conflict came early in story and was resolved by the middle and then things were smooth sailing minus a few small issues here and there.
Overall, this enemies-to-lovers slow burn is adorable and entertaining with witty banter throughout. Great for a pick-me-up if you need something light and sweet.

Noah and Gillian get off on the wrong foot when Noah first moves in next door and accidentally destroys a part of Gillian’s prize garden. Somehow, the animosity between them keeps getting worse instead of better, and it doesn’t help that these two run into each other everywhere in the small town of Willow Cove.
This is a super cute enemies-to-lovers, small-town, romantic comedy full of humor and heart. Gillian and Noah are relatable, and their banter is a lot of fun. The small-town atmosphere adds charm to the story, and the quirky side characters are hilarious.
I love the unique addition of the gardening contest, giving a layer of competition and camaraderie to the story’s budding romance.
Overall, a light, quick, heartwarming rom-com that I really enjoyed on audio. The narrators did an amazing job bringing all of the characters to life.
If you’re a fan of low-spice romance, then you should definitely give this one a chance. Thank you so much to St. Martin’s Press for my early copy and Dreamscape Media for my complimentary ALC.
Two feuding neighbours in the midst of a small-town gardening competition sounded like all sorts of fun. And it was! But it was nearly halfway in before I felt like the story truly started.
I liked the meet-cute and the initial bickering, but it shifted into a lot of time spent with Gillian going on numerous over-the-top, unbelievably terrible dates. It seemed like an easy means to paint Noah as perfect. The chemistry felt a bit forced because of that.
The latter half is where the story amped up the action and excitement for me. I adored the shady small-town politics and adorable meddling seniors.
A cute read, but unfortunately a very slow start. Though I will say, I was happily surprised by this being a closed-door romance! We don't get enough from publishers.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own
I had a fun time with this read, I will admit that the first 15 ish % was a bit rough for me and didn't keep my interest. Gillian felt relatable and I could see similarities in her thoughts on online dating and dating apps. However, most of my dislike came from all the talk about weight. Gillian is written to be "curvy", it's even brought but that men look at her because they are "chubby chasers". Nowhere in this book does it tell us what that looks like, the description of her was so general it's not even funny. This is a repeated topic in the book. While I understood some of the feelings here as I am plus-sized, I just think it was used to much. I did like her and Noah's relationship, it was cute but could've used more angst. Overall It was a fun time and I would recommend giving it a read but just keep realistic expectations.
This book was kind of bland. There were a lot of side stories that were brought up that I would have thought would be explored but never were. For instance, what was the point of bringing up Noah’s ex-girlfriend's son if he is only going to be talked about for a paragraph or two and has no impact on the plot? When things like this were brought into the story you can tell it was the author trying to stir up drama, but the drama falls short every time.
If you are looking for a cute romance that spends too much time talking about the main character's weight and not enough time on character development, this is the book for you.
I loved the banter between Gillian and her neighbor Noah. I liked Gillian's personality to an extent. I didn't quite understand her imaginary talks with Bette. This did not deter me from enjoying her character though. Gillian's passion for gardening was inspiring and made her interesting. Let's just say that no one messes with Gillian's love for plants and gets away with it. ;) I'm all about body positivity. This book sheds light on the importance of body positivity, which makes me happy. It's a subject that's hard to discuss without being penalized or misunderstood. All her friends are so cool and interesting. I loved the inclusion of a variety of ages within her friend group and their protectiveness towards her. They were comedic and thrilling additions to Gillian's and Noah's stories.
Noah is just himself looking to start over after a long-term relationship went amiss. I felt sorry for him as his connection with his ex-girlfriend's son had to be broken for him to let go and move on. The confusion and heartache felt so realistic to me. I couldn't imagine going through something like that and having to just walk away from a child I've bonded with. I loved that he is portrayed to be a misunderstood man going through real issues and figuring out how to move on with his life. He made me laugh so much with all the antics he pulled to help out Gillian when she was in a pickle. The gift that Noah gives to Gillian is a unique addition to their relationship blossoming. I loved everything about the gift and what it signified to both of them.
This book is for you if you enjoy a slow burn, low-spice (closed-door), enemies-to-lovers, small-town romance, and fun banter.
I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Jayne Denker continues her Willow Cove/Thousand Islands universe of the sweet and adorable “The Rom-Com Agenda” featuring Gillian of Eli’s makeover team. Gillian is professionally a pharmacist, but her passion is her garden, something she’s worked on for five years in order to win the competitive annual garden contest. Unfortunately, new neighbor and marina owner Noah initially took a dislike to the property line boxwood hedges that were in his yard, but were part of her “borrowed landscape” garden design of multiple flower beds and romantic spaces. Oops. Even though Noah is immediately mesmerized by Gillian and the town consensus is that she’s a wonderful person, her gardening rage towards Noah makes for awkward neighborly interactions. And when Noah gets conned into participating in the garden contest with an anti-romantic, hard lines, modernistic design, Gillian despises him even more.
This is obviously an enemies-to-lovers romance (low spice) and a lot of time is spent on Gillian’s incredibly awful dating experiences, many which Noah witnesses and cannot understand how she’s found these one-date only idiots. The build-up is funny and sweet; you can’t help rooting for these two and there’s a marvelous cast of supporting characters. It’s an easy and enjoyable book with great small town vibes. 5 stars!

Literary Pet Peeve Checklist: Green Eyes (only 2% of the real world, yet it seems like 90% of all fictional females): YES We have a green-eyed gardener as the main character! Horticultural Faux Pas (plants out of season or growing zones, like daffodils in autumn or bougainvillea in Alaska): NO There’s immense pressure in a book where gardening is a romantic plot device to get it right!
This was a cute and fun little romance read, but it was pretty average, uncomplicated, and predictable. I liked that the FMC was a bigger woman, but felt it didn’t need to be brought up negatively in every chapter.
It’s Probably You (published as Hedging Your Bets in the US market) is an engaging enemies-to-lovers/opposites-attract small town romance novel by Jayne Denker.
When part of her prized garden is accidentally destroyed by her new neighbour, Gillian Pritchard is not in the mood to make nice, even though her friends, and her inner Bette Davis, are quick to remind of her that handsome, eligible men aren’t thick on the ground in Willow Cove. It’s something Gillian is well aware of given the string of disastrous dates she’s endured since her divorce, but she’s sure Noah West would only be another disappointment.
Noah is baffled by Gillian’s refusal to forgive and forget his mistake. He’s tried to apologise, he even bought her a gnome for her precious garden, but Gillian seems determined to think the worst of him. When Noah is blackmailed into thwarting Gillian’s plans to win Willow Cove’s annual garden competition he is expecting her to declare war, but instead she offers to make peace in the face of a common enemy, and suddenly their relationship seems starts to blossom.
There was a lot I enjoyed in It’s Probably You. The buildup of the relationship between Gillian and Noah is entertaining, their banter is often witty, and the tension of their attraction comes across well, despite this being a closed door romance.
I appreciate a mature romcom heroine, and I liked Gillian from the moment of her introduction, she’s smart, sassy, and self confident. I was generally happy with the way in which Gillian was represented as a curvy woman, though perhaps Denker stresses the size ≠ health a little too often, unintentionally implying that Gillian is the ‘right’ kind of fat. I absolutely empathise with Gillian’s issues with Louise though, I’ve met one or two women just like her. Noah is an attractive hero and clearly a good guy. He’s a little lost after the end of his relationship and not really sure what to do with himself, which generates sympathy.
There are some lovely scenes in It’s Probably You, Noah being bailed up by the older ladies in the neighbourhood under the guise of a welcome was a favourite, as was his awkward introduction to Gillian’s protective friends. The list of Gillian’s dating disasters made me cringe and laugh.
Sweet, cute and funny, It’s Probably You is a light-hearted, easy read.
After enjoying The Rom-Com Agenda, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Hedging Your Bets. However, this installment of the Willow Cove romance series fell flat for me.
What Worked For Me Once the story got started, I found I liked the couple. The banter was great. I also liked that the couple communicated like adults.
The small-town atmosphere was fantastic. Willow Cove is everything you want in a small-town romance. I loved this about The Rom-Com Agenda, too. The elderly, nosy neighbors were perfectly meddling. They up'd the comedy level quite a bit. The other side characters are also great.
What Didn't Work For Me The story took too long to get going. There is a whole "dating montage" that the female main character goes through. Each date is terrible. The men are terrible. They do and say terrible things. I did not find it enjoyable at all. It felt unnecessary to make them all fat-shaming jerks.
I found the reason for the couple being enemies unbelievable.
The male main character has some super cringy monologues.
I enjoyed the dual narration. I always find dual narration to be best for a dual-POV book. Both narrators did a great job.
Perfect for fans of: Dual POV, Dual Narration Small Town Romance Closed Door, Low Spice Enemies to Lovers Competition Cute, Nosy Elderly Neighbors Gardening/Nature

I love a good rom-com and this one definitely fit the bill. It was cute, witty, and made me laugh at several parts. I really liked the ladies of the neighborhood who played such an impactful role. The romance was cute and I loved that it included some gardening too. Not a lot of romance books about gardening.
🌀Synopsis Gillian has a horrible dating life. All of her online dating has been terrible but she’s determined to keep trying. She’s divorced and happy with the rest of her life and she knows what she’s looking for in a relationship so all the crappy prospects is frustrating to her. To top it off, she’s now dealing with a grumpy neighbor Noah. Noah is post-breakup and looking for a fresh start. He knows no one in town but loved visiting so he’s determined to make it here. They immediately get off on the wrong foot but when the neighborhood intervenes things start to get better. Gillian starts teaching Noah about gardening even though he’s secretly trying to beat her in their town’s competition. The two find a way to each other’s hearts through failed dates and a shared gnome.

I'll admit Hedging Your Bets was a total cover request for me. As an avid gardener, I am here for any book where gardening plays a role. Additionally, I was intrigued to see how a gardening competition would play into the plot. Aside from that, I didn't know what else to expect from this rom-com.
What I like: • the cover. The art is simple, yet conveys a lot. It honestly may just be my favourite part of the book. the gardening. Gardening as a hobby isn't something I come across often in books, so I was excited it was included here. Gillian's garden is her escape and I could definitely relate to that. • the meddling neighbours. It's no surprise I love older characters and I absolutely adored Gillian and Noah's quirky, nosy neighbours. They added the humour I was hoping for.
What I didn't like: • the chemistry. The banter felt genuine in the beginning, yet the whole enemies-to-lovers trope seemed undeveloped and confusing. Eventually their chemistry became forced and dragged on... and on. • the gardening. There just wasn't enough focus on this aspect. I would have liked more time (for both characters) spent working in their gardens separately. The synopsis really focuses on it and it didn't deliver. • the blackmail. I absolutely detested this part of the plot. It was ridiculous, childish, and petty for adults to behave in such a manner. • the length. This could have easily been 30-50 pages shorter. I wasn't a fan of all Gillian's dating scenes (it just felt like filler). The two MCs spent minimal time together until around the half way point.
I has such high hopes for Hedging Your Bets, yet I never became fully invested in this rom-com. There were elements I enjoyed, but the ones I didn't outweighed those that I did, leaving me with a unsatisfied feeling once I finished. I'd definitely pick up another rom-com centered around gardening, but I am not sure this author is for me.

I tried to like this one, but I couldn't feel the emotional connection between the characters, and I actually found that the mmc was a little too rude for me. By the time I had stopped reading, he'd already said and done some pretty harsh things that I wouldn't be able to accept an apology for so easily. After these events I just couldn't continue without feeling like the mmc was a total jerk. I won't be finishing this one.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (3.5) Steam Level: 🔥🔥 (closed door scenes) Trigger Warning: brief mentions of fat shaming and divorce
Now that she's recovered from her divorce, Gillian Pritchard is trying out online dating in the hopes of getting a second chance at love. When Noah West moves in next door, he becomes an instant thorn in her side when he threatens the beautiful garden she's cultivated in her backyard. As Gillian dates one disappointing prospect after another, Noah keeps weaseling his way into her life. But it seems that Noah isn't as bad as she first thought, and soon Gillian begins to develop feelings for him. Maybe the man she thought she hated is really her true love in disguise.
After reading this author's debut novel, I was looking forward to heading back to the fictional town of Willow Cove for another sweet romance. I liked the sort of enemies vibe between Gillian and Noah and how they slowly overcame their initial dislike of one another. Unfortunately, the beginning was just missing something for me, which kept this from being a 4 star read. The second half was really sweet and had some great interactions and a natural progression of feelings between Gillian and Noah. They each had difficult breakups in the past and had to trust that their feelings for each other were genuine. And I liked how there wasn't a third act breakup! I'm pretty sure we'll be getting one more romance in this series, so, even though this one fell a bit short, I would love to read the next book by this author.
Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
I really liked this opposites attract, dual POV, small town, enemies to friends to lovers next door neighbor romance that sees two feuding small town people competing to win a gardening contest and slowly realizing they actually like spending time together.
I loved how unapologetically fat and fabulous divorced pharmacist and avid gardener, Gillian. Especially when she decides to dip her toes in the online dating world, going on a series of first date duds while also trying yet again to win the town gardening contest.
Meanwhile, Noah is new to town and fresh off a break up with his old girlfriend and her son. Noah has no kind of green thumb and has zero interest in the gardening contest until the woman who hates Gillian blackmails him into competing to rig the contest. I really enjoyed watching Gillian and Noah's friendship develop. They feel comfortable enough to get vulnerable and share some deep secrets with one another.
My only real complaint was that this was pretty much a kissing only story and there didn't seem to be much chemistry between the two MCs until the very end when Noah proposes. Good on audio and recommended for fans of books like How to love your neighbor by Sophie Sullivan. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
After a recent break-up Noah West moves from California to Willow Cove, a small upper NY town, where he used to spend his summers. He purchases a local marina where he worked as a teen and his only family in town is his uncle. His next door neighbor is curvy Gillian Pritchard who is a pharmacist. Her garden is her bride and joy and she wants to win the annual garden competition. Their first meeting doesn’t go well when he rips out a hedge on his yard that is part of the yard’s garden design.
The story has cute moments, the gnome, and Gillian's supportive friends. I love the scene with Noah flirting and dancing holding the gnome. The older neighborhood busybodies are sweet but very one note with almost every conversation with Gillian being about her dating life. It is told from duel POV but I didn’t connect much as everything felt very surface level or one dimensional. And having an actually plotting villain makes that part of the plot silly. The story is closed door which is fine but I prefer more build up with more kissing and touches before the door shuts. If you enjoy small town, closed door romances with minimal angst this is entertaining and cute. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.
This is a sweet enemies-to-lovers story. I liked the growth the two characters showed, and I also appreciated that they had great communication and understanding once they got together.
It wasn't my favorite read for the following reasons: 1. It read spicy at first (in terms of their attractions/fantasies about each other), but it was fade to black when the characters got together. Spice isn't a requirement for me in a romance novel, but it surprised me based on what I was expecting. 2. It took nearly all of the book for the characters to show they even liked each other much less were interested romantically in one another. 3. The dialogue felt stilted in places, and some of the things the male character thought/said made me cringe. 4. I wasn't entirely convinced even by the end that they would work out based on how much they disliked each other at the start, which I recognize is hard to pull off with this trope, but I wanted it to come together better.
Overall, I enjoyed the read and would recommend it, it just didn't stand out to me as one of my favorites!
Hottie Noah West moves next door to firecracker Gillian Pritchard, who is really into gardening, especially the local small town competition. When he mauls her plants bordering his property, it's WAR!
Pluses: a lot of their banter was hilarious, and the side characters are a real gas. Especially the old women. The romance develops pretty much as romances do, buuuuut.....
While I think the author meant to be fat-sympathetic, there are moments when it get cringey, and I was pushed out of the story by the underlying fat phobia, which seemed to come out of nowhere.
We do get a happy ending, but it wasn't the smooth read that I'd hoped for.
This was super cute! I wouldn't go so far as to call it enemies to lovers, since the 'hating' didn't really last that long or cut that deep; I'd call it more of rivals to lovers, and I still loved that dynamic! Noah and Gillian were both really fun characters and the progression of their relationship was so fun to read, they're so sweet. Definitely a great option for a sweet, easy-read, clean romance!

This was a sweet, cute little romcom. I enjoyed it, and I would recommend it to romance fans who aren't looking for spice. The chemistry was pretty good, and I enjoyed the enemies to lovers storyline. Ultimately, a fun byut forgettable read.
What a charming and funny story! I thoroughly enjoyed Jayne Denker's adorable romance, Hedging Your Bets. This one had me chuckling from the very start... when Noah pulls out Gillian's "hedges" lol, gah, too cute.
The audio version of Hedging Your Bets is nicely performed by Katelyn Levering and Nick Mondelli. Their voices add great depth to these characters and really fit the lighthearted humorous tone of the story.

This turned out so cute! I wasn’t sure at first how I was going to feel about this one, but I’m really glad I stuck with it, because it was just so adorable in the end. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to meet Jayne, and she’s such a lovely person, so I’m really happy I finally got around to reading this! I look forward to reading more of her works.
2.5/5 stars, listened as an audiobook. Quick read, I just wasn't a huge fan of the storyline and character growth. It felt like it moved too fast from hate to love.
