A fun, light book filled with thing you can do on short notice (meaning they don't often require a lot of prep).

There is a lot of stuff in the book, some hit and some miss. I managed to get a few eye rolls from the 9 year-old daughter so that tells me the book is spot on.

Fun read and fun activities.

This book is required reading for all current or future dads. You gotta know the dad stuff to trick and amaze your children.

Does the phrase "dad joke" mean anything to you? I was surprised I learned a better way to teach a kid to ride a bike. Why didn't I realize that! Has cool things like that. Lots of stuff you need a reminder of and even questions a child will ask that perhaps you should know the answer too. What's the diff between a croc and an alligator? Why is the sky blue? Tricks to do with a dollar bill, etc. "This book is required reading for all current or future dads." I Agree.

"I would recommend this not just for dads, but any person who spends time with children. You will learn some great tricks and be reminded of some classics you marveled at as a child.
"Looking back now we laugh at the corniness, but when my dad would do some of the stuff in this book I remembered loving it. Super cute ways for dads (or moms) to interact and keep kids attention :)

Thought my husband would like this book, but I've used it way more than he has. There is a whole chapter of fun things to entertain very little kids, so that's the chapter I reference. I like that I can just flip the book open, quickly pick something, and then shut the book to play with my kids... It is user friendly and inspires action. This would make a great gift book!
