During the 1980's, he read the entire Sherlock Holmes canon to his then-ten-year-old daughter at evening story time. She's now become historical novelist Anna Elliott and he's thrilled to be her coauthor on the Sherlock and Lucy Mystery Series. Fear is present in a hospital where patients are being drained of their blood, there are doctors doing unusual things, blood banks are being pilfered, and a bright lady doctor surgeon hears voices in both day and night. They are whispers. There is a unknown group called the Gathering, once you join you can never leave, and they want this young doctor. As you move through this tense story you find one by one some of her friends are members of this group. A horror psycho book that keeps you involved until the book is finished, and a good bit after.

I found this book by coincidence between others on the shelf, when I have forgotten about it. I read Night Whispers very long time ago, and although I don't recall much of the details but I immediately remembered liking it though it gave me the creeps! That's why I gave it a 3-star, because how the post-read feel is still with me.

This book, for me at least, is one of those cheesy books that you would luckily find for $2-5 in a huge book metal-basket at markets and fairs, that if turned into a movie it "might not" be popular nor a success. However, if you're into thriller and spooky, give this one a try.

Patients being drained of blood and killed in a hospital. An evil cult's insatiable need for blood. A creepy story of lost memory and control

Was not expecting much from this book but I LOVED it. I couldn’t put it down. Great transitions between storylines and truly surprising twists
