I loved this book, but was wishing for a different ending. Two people who deserved happiness, but didn't know how to get it from each other.

re-read this, but this time I listened to the audiobook, which was okay. I think I still prefer reading the actual book, but I still liked the story. Donavan's grandma was super annoying; she had way too much control over him for her own selfish reasons. Poor Donavan was just so lost in his trauma that he ghosted someone who would've been perfect for him, all because he felt like he wasn't good enough. I would like a sequel to this one

This book was awesome... I wish I knew more about what happened to Donovan, but this was real and raw of a women going through hurt of a man and not know what really happened.

I loved this book! It gave me many emotions. So many women, as well as men, have gone through some part of this book in their lives. I experienced happiness, anger, and sadness as I read this book and I wouldn't change a single emotion. Days later, and this book is still on my mind. I did not expect Loving Donavan to end that way that it did. That was the icing on the cake for me. It was real, raw, and not predictable, to say the least. I recommend this book for sure!

Incomplete ending. So much build up to get a quick and shabby ending leaving me searching the internet for a sequel or clear ending

This is a decent book, but it has very typical themes. The negative themes that Black authors tend to favour are all in there making it depressing at times and predictable at others.
