I write erotic romance because I firmly believe that life doesn't stop at the bedroom door. I had a deeply romantic relationship with my husband of 22 years, and I want to celebrate his memory in my writing. After he died, it took me a long time to come out of my grief, but parts of him -- his honor, courage, optimism, tenacity, and lust for life -- live on in all my heroes. They’re all alpha men, as well.

And I write erotic romance because I feel you're never too old to give or receive love. Many of my stories have older heroines who dazzle younger men, and I wouldn't mind being such a heroine in real life. But that's another story...

I'm a member of Romance Writers of America, Liberty States Fiction Writers, and EPIC - the Electronic Publishing Industry Coalition. I’ve written for Ellora’s Cave since signing my first contract in 2004. I love gardening, and grow peonies (my friend calls them the “floozies” of the flower world), dahlias and other showy flowers. I play the piano occasionally, listen to classical music almost all the time, and sometimes dance to music only I can hear. And I read, read, read. I hope you do, too.

Fabulous erotic love story.

Crystal has been waiting her whole life. Waiting for The One for her. As soon as she spied Soren, both she and her crystal just KNEW he was it. Unfortunately, Soren has been emotionally scarred and has closed himself off from love. Just when Cyrstal appears to be breaking through his emotional barriers, she's placed in danger by a deranged stalker.

This is the third in Cris Anson's Dance series and I think my favorite of the three. She does a great job of writing erotic love stories with plot and logic.

Good read. The back of the book accurately describes the hero as "Soren, whose man-woman skills are almost non-existent..." The heroine is virginal but not clueless - and she's sure he's The One. Throw in a deranged stalker [somewhat of an oxymoron there:] who wants to 'protect and preserve' her purity and you have a fairly entertaining read. Not a lot of suspense - the stalker's identity is obvious early on, we know Soren will fall like a timbered redwood for the heroine eventually and that appropriate 'rewards' will be meted out to all players but it was enjoyable none the less...

Magnus and Kath from Dance of the Butterfly have supporting roles.

Soren Thorvald is a quite bar-owner who doesn't really have much to do with women due to his mother leaving him and his brothers when they were young. He is signed up to be a participant in the Take a Bachelor to Dinner Auction for charity something he really doesn't want to do. At the auction after woman that won him looks like she is trying to get away by crawling under the table Soren grabs her and hauls her over her shoulder out of the ballroom.

Crystal D’Angelo is a 30 year old virgin who has been holding out for "The One" Her grandmother gave her a talisman when she was younger and told her that it would tell he when she met "The One". When she see's Soren up on the stage she realizes its him.

These two have alot of issues to work through.. Soren almost had no relationship skills and has no idea how to be with a woman and ends up running alot from Crystal. This of course confuses Chystal since she to doesn't have alot of experience in relationships.

There is also a side plot of someone stalking Crystal (she never knows about it) that gets kinds ugly at the end but never fear Soren and Magnus to the rescue.

I really liked this book. Cant decide if I like this one or the first book the best...

A second winner by Cris Anson. Very enjoyable (and steamy) series. Putting the second and fourth on my wishlist.

A cute story with some decent romantic scenes. Not a big fan of the way of mix of descriptive and pointview writing, but a decent book for in between heavier books.

A decent story even though Soren was rough around the edges. Crystal was okay; she just didn't stand out. Their sexual chemistry was very good, however, and the sex was entertaining. My one issue with this story came at the very end. The author centered the plot around Crystal's belief in the power of her talisman, but when Soren pooh-poohed it, she discounted the talisman's power as well, which in my opinion was a total cop-out and a lousy way to end this tale. 3.2 stars.

Third in the series and my favorite. Liked Soren much better than Magnus (Dance of the Butterfly). Lots and lots of hot scenes, but they're never boring. Crystal is a good combination of sweet and spunky. The writing, pacing, tension, etc. are decent. I do wish the story had ended as strongly as it started, though.

Unfortunately, this book didn't work for me. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and I felt that Crystal was very inconsistent. She's a naive virgin one minute and a complete wanton the next. Soren acted too caveman-like for me. I thought the plot was silly too.

It wasen't too bad but it did have an actual story line. Sorensen is a man tortured about his past with women and Crystal is a naive woman who falls in love with Sorensen. Throw in a psycho stalker and you have yourself an ok read.
