Very cool pop-up book. I picked this up after opening it and finding the pop-up. I have always been interested in FLW and his designs. Years ago I stayed at the Biltmore in Scottsdale - beautiful and memorable experience. The book is vey short - wish there were more photos to accompany the brief text on each of the six buildings. I was disappointed with the blurry hard to read architectural drawings. The book also left me wanting to know more about FLW after touching on his personal struggles - artists seem to often have damaged lives. His professional life was so influential, his personal and family life was a wreck - filled with heartache of his own doing.

Unique book with an interesting pop-up twist. I enjoyed learning more about Wright and his personal life. I also liked that the author included various illustrations and pictures of each featured piece of architecture.

I've been salivating over this book for a while, and finally succumbed. Six of FLW's greatest buildings in pop-up: Robie House, the Ennis-Brown House, Fallingwater, the Johnson Wax Building, the Guggenheim Museum, and Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

Each pop-up is accompanied by the plan of the building and a discussion of its significant features. There are some wonderful photographs as well (I love the aerial shot of Robie House particularly).

Beautifully modeled paper pop-ups true to scale. The accompanying text however presents nothing new on the subject matter. A pretty book to look at and to just leave open. This book is awesome for the pop-ups but not for much else.

Awesome bathroom book, but the buildings start to droop once youve fogged up the mirror a few times... Ever seen his spaceship church in California? ...i think he went kind of nutso by the end.
