Momota Inoue (Japanese: 井上桃太) is the manga author of several Pokémon manga. She was born on June 19, 1985 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. In 2006, she received the 58th Shogakukan Rookie Comic Grand Prize, Children's Division, for her work Red Enza.
I believe this manga is based on one of the Pokemon movies; the complete story is in this single volume. It's clearly aimed at a young audience but is well done. A good children's story is one an adult enjoys when reading to the child. This story qualifies.
I thought the art style in this one was really nice. It fit the world of Pokémon well. The pacing kinda worked better here than the movie, felt like Ash & everyone else were more important.
