I'll be honest. I read this at a Tibetan Buddhist retreat because it was, well, just there. It also had a picture of California on it (my former home). I certainly wouldn't recommend this book for a beginner in Tibetan Buddhism. Plus, it doesn't even seem like the most interesting of his books (Attention Revolution comes to mind). That being said, if you can get into it, it's a quick read and clearly explains basic Tibetan Seven-Point Mind training. Like I said, you could find better elsewhere.
