Behavior Management: Principles and Practices of Positive Behavior Supports Loose Leaf Version (3rd Edition) 3rd (third) Edition by Wheeler, John J., Richey, David Dean published by Pearson
For Behavior Management, Positive Behavior Support (PBS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Functional Assessment courses. With the goal of helping teachers achieve optimistic outcomes for the students they teach, this text focuses on ways for combining the "best" of behavior analysis, behavior management, and positive behavior supports (PBS). Translating empirical-based research into current practice, this book demonstrates the effectiveness of PBS with a wide range of learners with varying off-task behaviors. This text reinforces the need to seek "goodness of fit" based on each learners' developmental strengths and challenges. While primarily addressing the needs of learners with disabilities, the authors emphasize the relevance of PBS for all children and youth, regardless of their abilities in any area.
A good basic overview of how to set up a positive behavior support plan for those who don't know anything about the topic. Just not what I was wanting for a Master's level class on Behavior Management.
