Devil’s Due is a very exciting read.
I can see where Ceara is coming from. I am the oldest in my family and I would do whatever it took to help my siblings out. If I had to trade my soul for their’s I would in a heart beat. I would do anything to keep them from making mistakes and to keep them from having any pain. I know that there is no way to do that though.
Alex regrets giving his soul to the Devil. He knows where Ceara is coming from because he did his for love to and it wasn’t worth it in the end. He will do whatever it takes to save Kevin’s soul and not take Ceara’s in exchange. So he calls for reinforcements from the other side.
I enjoyed that the Devil got some of his own medicine. I was glad that Alex finally started standing up to him and doing what he could to outsmart the Devil.
The plot to the story was one that kept my attention through the whole book. I enjoyed the suspense on wondering what would happen next. I thought I knew what was going to happen next. I didn’t I was surprised through it all.
I was so hoping that there would be another book after this one so I could see what happened to everyone else in the story. There was a good start to another book. I am left hanging just wondering.
Other than not feeling that this was an ending I enjoyed this book. Seeing the Devil gets his just desserts is the icing on the cake.
This book deals with real issues like drug use, alcoholism, and everything else that comes with fame.
