Harriet Tubman HS Series; The Princess of the Fair contest is supposed to infuse and inspire students with school spirit. The winner should embody the qualities of Harriet Tubman, the schools namesake. But everyone knows it will turn into a nasty popularity contest where mean girls like Jasmine Benson will stop at nothing to win.

Written for young adults, the Urban Underground series confronts issues that are of great importance to teens, such as friendship, loyalty, drugs, gangs, abuse, urban blight, bullies, and self-esteem to name a few. More than entertainment, these books can be a powerful learning and coping tool when a struggling reader connects with credible characters and a compelling storyline. The highly readable style and mature topics will appeal to young adult readers of both sexes and encourage them to finish each novel.

I give this book a 5 because it show that a girl name Cameron who feel in love with a boy name Paul. The thing that she does not know is that he has a bod past and that his friend are in a gangbanger and he also in a gang himself. Her father is so protective about her and Cameron told her family that he is a respectful, and kind guy to date. But her father feel that he is hiding something from them that he won't tell.

The book "the lost" really caught my attention because it talks about a girl who is in love with a boy with barely any family but hes not giving up on his dream to be a big star in filming. He goes to college but the girl he likes is still in high school they met in a parking and the girls dad is a little over protective. The girl is protesting for the boy to be her boyfriend. The girl believes that he has what it takes to be a good citizen but no one really trust him based on his dark pass. Is she correct or is she being led by the cuteness and kindness that he shows. But more importantly is the passed that counts or the destination. READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT. I garantee you, you won't regret it.

I gave this book a five star because it just blew me away the way she told the story the way she told all the back rounds and situations then problems for all the problems this book also she tells how do they solve it and how do they resolve it and who they ask for help so that they can fix there problems. Lastly i gave this book a star because she told why the story was called the lost by saving not about the title about the characters.

This book was about a girl who like a boy with hardly any family left. But he still is going to chase his dreams of becoming a film star. I would recommend this book to my class mates.
