I can’t believe no one has written a review for this gem. Psychedelic art at its height ! This trippy compilation of noted artists, influenced either directly or indirectly by psychedelics, will entrance you.
I purchased this book when I was about 16 years old at a record store. The posters of the 1960-1970s were sheer art and the visionary art in this book is just as trippy and colorful. In Houston, TX there was a restaurant called The Hobbit Hole and it had the Gage Taylor painting, The Road on the wall. The pink sky and forested landscape are captivating. There are only about six California Visionary artists listed in this book, but each one takes you to another world, and many are out of this world!
