This is a great read, opening eyes to the inequalities within the school systems. Also allowing us to see what needs to change within societal structures, creating more equal outcomes for the future of our youth. This book is not putting the blame on the school but rather ALL institutions. Highlighting our capitalistic society that furthers the unequal outcomes surrounding race, class and gender among youth in America.
