Giorgio Armani (Italian pronunciation: [ˈdʒordʒo arˈmaːni]; 11 July 1934 – 4 September 2025) was an Italian fashion designer, known best for his his eponymous company Armani. Initially gaining prominence for his work with fashion house Cerruti 1881, he established his own company Armani in 1975, and it subsequently diversified into music, sport, and luxury hotels. By 2001, Armani had achieved widespread acclaim as the most successful designer of Italian origin, and he was widely credited with pioneering red carpet fashion. At the time of his death, his empire was valued at more than $12.1 billion.

Armani was credited for revolutionizing fashion in the 1970s with his minimalist, deconstructed silhouettes, embodied in the famous soft jackets and unstructured suits. He was said to have transformed masculine and feminine elegance into a contemporary, sober and sophisticated form. Honestamente esperaba mucho más del libro. Es un compendio de frases de Armani al aire sin cronología ni nada por el estilo.
