This was not at all what I was expecting when this book was recommended to me. I shy away from anything biblical because of the deeply rooted dogma that is present, and it's something that has never really resonated with me. This book however, touched me deeply. It comes from the authenticity of Jesus simply being a fully realized and enlightened being. You cannot ignore the heartfelt truths that he explores throughout the book. All paths lead to love!

This is the most impressive and informative book I have ever read on many topics that relate to living a successful and enlightened life. The book was based upon daily appearances of Jesus Christ to an artist named Glenda Green from January 2, 1992 through March 12, 1992, as she painted his portrait. The content is mainly direct quotations from Jesus (Jeshua in Aramaic) which are in italics. No person could have fabricated these masterful explanations and applications of wisdom that even include future scientific advancements and the course of human spiritual evolution.
I met Glenda in late 1996, when she first began to speak on what he had told her over four years before, which she had kept secret even from her husband. She agreed to share the information when Jeshua encouraged her but only if it was independent of any religion. Some of it is amazingly simple but some has me scratching my head still after reading the book yearly since I came out in late 1998! Each time through, understandings and insights build upon the prior reading. -You have to read it to fully understand what I mean. (Jeshua has appeared to her many times since and even long enough for a second portrait, which was the basis of her second book, "The Keys of Jeshua".
They can be purchased in digital and print on the website of the author or Amazon. Her website also has the portraits of Jeshua: www.lovewithoutend.com

I am not sure how to rate this book. I really liked some of its spiritual guidance but I struggled to get through it. I consider myself a person of strong faith and beliefs, but I was not fully convinced that this author was actually quoting Jesus but I can be open to the possibility. There were some chapters that were just way too deep for me to comprehend. Maybe it is my complete lack of understanding of quantum and particle physics, but when the book tried to explain the universe, I struggled. But what she (and/or Jesus) said about how we all influence the spirit of the universe, and how we are all connected, and how we can walk into a room and change the spirit in the room to Love is quite a powerful thought. The book basically conveys that we are all the Love of God; that each and every person is living within the one spirit and influences the spirit of the universe. I was inspired by the chapters where she discusses living as that Love, living in truth, doing the 'right thing', doing everything with kindness and justice and without judgement. Every person has a right to their own viewpoint of reality. The universe will maintain balance. Problems are not solved by force, but by Love. Our Heart is the highest guide of our intelligence. These were the takeaways for me.

I originally read this book back around 2003 when I was started experiencing spiritual transformation and being provided with guidance, so it wasn't a stretch for me to believe that Glenda spoke to Jesus. I re-read this book in 2014 after I was presented with a great interaction with the Divine. I recommend this book to those who are beginning to awaken as a glimpse into experiences that they may one day have themselves. It was nicely written and I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Blessings.. If you could ask Jesus anything, what might you ask? Glenda Green had that opportunity as the Son of God posed for a portrait for four months, and she wrote down their conversation, to our benefit.
You may have doubts or reservations about that on my word, but reading her encounter will leave you breathless, and a Believer.
Every word that falls from Christ's lips is golden; and it is so wonderful to hear what he has to say beyond what we have in the Gospel-- and to a modern listener. Don't miss!

When I first heard of the origins of this book I was skeptical, but as with everything else I figured I would keep an open mind. I was not far into the book when I realized what a wealth of information it contained. Sometimes it becomes extremely intense to read and must be digested in small sections. This is one of the most incredible reads I have come across.

=== Many truths but difficult to connect the dots ===

Yes, this book does have many truths that ring true. Even a skeptic has to admit that much. We are told that Jeshua/Jesus manifested himself to Glenda Green off and on for two months in 1992 and responded profusely to her questions about love and life. He would sit next to her on the sofa. He would watch TV (relevant to the topic of the day) with her. She would make notes which form the bulk of the contents of the book. I have read numerous books of, about and “by” Jesus as well as other high luminaries. They express themselves in a wide range of credibility, clarity and comprehension—somehow attempting to appeal to every spiritual palate. It would indeed be truly miraculous if they could gather together for a new “last supper” and strike up a committee to come to some consensus. But alas, no.

Glenda Green’s Jesus speaks like someone with PhD’s in philosophy, religious studies, sociology, psychology and physics. If this “revelation” is targeting the uneducated, unwashed, sick, hungry, flea-bitten and plague-ridden masses—as the Biblical Jesus did—it aims so far above its target that it would be like NASA’s Project Apollo as compared to the Wright brother’s heavier-than-air first flight. Even author Green admits more than once that she has problems connecting the dots. As I was reading this book I asked myself why this book has not succeeded in spiritualizing mankind and reforming society to new levels of unity based on “love without end.” The obvious answer seemed to be that it is too highfalutin. Grandiloquent would be another term. Another answer might be that it is too wrapped up in the package Glenda Green presents and represents. If we are to accept this version of Jesus, we must also accept what Green purports to have experienced and everything about her. True believers would therefore aspire to elevate her to virtual sainthood for having brought a new revelation of divine truth, although she herself attributes this revelation solely to her manifested Jesus.

I found it interesting that in “The Ten Commandments of Love” concerning the seventh commandment about adultery, Jesus says “it is the Father’s will that the institution of marriage be a holy bond… The marriage of a man and a woman honors and recognizes the marriage of all other things.” He is clear that marriage is the traditional union between a man and a woman. Do unsanctified common-law relationships qualify, I wondered. But perhaps even same-sex unions and even polygamy, polyandry and polyamory can qualify within a wider definition because he adds that “whenever two or more come together in love, for any purpose, whatever the relationship, whatever the bond, a union is created within the one spirit.” Or maybe I am amiss in seeking a wider definition of marriage than he intends? If so, the next question would be how to define adultery in an open marriage or polyamorous relationship. Being a dispenser of truth for the twenty-first century can get complicated! (all quotes from page 228)

This is not a book for anyone in a hurry. Although the vocabulary is not difficult the ideas presented are densely complex making it challenging to link one concept to another. Actually it is more case of layering the concepts or constructing them to fit within each other. The paperback binding I had (ninth printing, 2002) was the worst of the worst, the kind that resists being fully opened. It takes muscle to keep this book open enough to read in bed. In this genre I like to underline a lot but the binding made it a chore to do so and it could not be done neatly. One star for the binding, four for the contents.

Ms. Green writes about the husband challenging his wife to paint a picture of Christ, her response, "How can I do this, my image of Christ is quite different from yours." Since her wonderful home and studio had recently burned to the ground, finally she suggested that, 'if' Christ came to advise her, she would paint him. Low and behold for two and a half months daily Christ was in her studio. The following discussions were phenomenal, in fact Christ suggests certain beliefs from the Bible are not quite correct at which point he points out the discrepancies. Nevertheless Glenda Green is beyond belief.

After the painting of Christ was finished the painting was heralded and requested by many churches to be displayed. At a small church in Texas, Saturday evening Glenda was positioning the lighting above. Suddenly the lighting fixture slipped from her hands and crashed into the lower corner of the painting. Finally not knowing what to do, Glenda covered the painting. The following morning, with grief, Glenda and the Minister came in to determine the next step.

To Glenda's great surprise, after uncovering the painting of Christ,m she discovered the dent and tear in the canvas were no longer present! The Minister smiled and assured her he knew this would be the case.

Beyond a shadow of doubt, "Love Without End Jesus Speaks," should be on your 'read' list of books!

This Book was recommended by a friend in my spiritual book club. I am a skeptic when it comes to experiences like this. The author, who is also an artist, says that Jesus visited her during the early 1990s. She asked him questions about his life, the nature of the universe, and the Bible and the God of the Old Testament. Who am I to question her experience? Still, I don't know if these are Jesus's views or the author's own.

A startling account of the author's personal experience of painting a portrait of Jesus. She claims that Jesus appeared to her and posed for the portrait. Whether or not you believe that this could have happened is not the point. Rather the point are the conversations she had with Jesus, and her understandings. It's thought-provoking and well-worth the time.

Like the Holy Scriptures, every time I open and read, even if just a line or two, seem to help or applies to my life and my living.
