The Convent Killings
A nun is murdered at a local convent.
Seamus and his team spring into action. Faced with another case having few clues and no motive. There are indications the killing was sexual. Hallmarks present of deeper fetishes at play. As the mystery begins to unravel darker parts of the killer’s psyche and past come to light. It isn’t clear if this is a one off killing, or if there will be more.
The killer is clever, secretive. Even so, the Foxcatchers begin to penetrate the underbelly of their world. Everyone has an Achilles heel, and the team races to find it as the killer ups the ante. However, even in the Garda things and people are not always all they seem, as the team begins to discover. Can the Foxcatchers crack the case or will this case finally crack them?
The story once again delivers up more gritty crime, lots of sex, fetishes, humour, romance and much more. Your favourite characters may continue to surprise you, and you may well meet some new ones along the way.

Some of his favourite authors remain, Gerald Durrell, Jane Austen, Peter James, Ellis Peters, and Isaac Asimov. At the age of eleven, he wrote his first fictional story about his toy teddy bear clan. Since then he has gone on to have some of his non-fiction article published in magazines, published a fictional crime series and a courtroom drama series. He has engaged in several different careers and says that these life experiences have all contributed greatly to his penchant for storytelling.
Bailey’s latest foray into fiction is a new WW2 Aviation Thriller series, The Spitfire Mavericks. It features spies, thrilling action packed aerial combat, romance and more. The series features a maverick crew of pilots thrown out from every squadron. The hero of the hour Flying Officer Angus Mackennelly endeavours to save the day in a series of thrilling adventures.
Bailey has also penned five full-length crime novels which is a genre he is particularly fond of. The Confessional Killings is the first of a series containing a heady mix of crime, suspense, humour, steamy romance and much more. Bailey has also tackled some controversial and topical subjects surrounding the Catholic Church in this story. The stories are set in Ireland, and Bailey confesses to having a great affection for the Irish.
Bailey has also published The Innocent Killing, and four other books in a Courtroom Drama series featuring a fictional barrister in Dublin called Bernadette Mackenna. This new series is a spicy mix of courtroom drama and same-sex romance. When asked why he started writing the books, Bailey said it was a story that needed to be told and one he would want to read himself.
The Spitfire Mavericks, DI Gallway Investigates, Bernadette Mackenna Investigates are set to continue for many more books to come. Bailey is dedicated to excellence and writes with passion but at the same time tries to make his words accessible to those of all persuasions, often shocking perhaps, but never dull.

gripping ! and such fun!!!!
This book has only one fault…. That is that it appears to be the last in the series!
This book is just such fun and carries on the story of DI Galway in Ballysruth… and his band of crime fighters and supporters.
In the same vein as the rest of the books in the series it is gripping, fun, at times touching and at other times hilarious…. In equal measure!
I cannot recommend this book and series more highly, from an author who is in my opinion a literary genius!

About hundred nuns in a convent in Ireland. One is killed and Seamus and teams have little clues to go by. A portrayal of the mind of a killer and what his dark psychic draws him to killing. A plot that covers many things, with added humor, and people who are not what they seem to be.

Goodish storyline but being an old fogie really can do without all the sex scenes as I truly do not think they add anything to the main plot
