This was probably my favourite from the Laundry series - it had laugh out loud moments that were really well written. I loved the incorporation of characters from the previous two books and threads from their storylines coming through, plus the development of those who before played minor roles.
It was all going so beautifully until the ending, which I really didn't like. At all. I know this author doesn't necessarily do "happy ever afters" and it's more about the journey of the protagonist, but geez it was a frustratingly unsatisfying finish to what was a terrific book. So Terry shocked herself out of her life-lethargy by potentially losing the love of her life? A couple of paragraphs of what-if's and may-be's didn't compensate for this rather sudden and sad ending.
Is there perhaps a Laundry #4 coming out? There were enough loose ends to make a quilt from this one! :)
