I have to say that I loved Isabella’s character and her shifter side is sooooo cool, refreshingly different and spices thing up quite a bit and of course, Leo is one hot and hunky feline, so I sure couldn’t put this story down until I had read every last word.

I sware everytime I read the next book it's better and better. Ms. Munro quite a writer, I love how her pen how it flows through the pages, really it's poetic. Another character that has a secret but the secret is huge, maybe not as huge as Queen but darn close. I recommend this book it is a must-read and of course I think you should get the whole series this could be a standalone but why bother read the series.

WOW This is an outstanding read!! I had to read this in once sitting I couldnt put it down. Super addictive I loved the suspense, the romance and the family bond. Absolutely brilliant.

Isabella is an assassin and she has found a mate during a time that she needs to concentrate on her job. Leo is a shifter and he knows by the scent of her that Isabella is his mate. However he is confused by her and not sure if she's playing games at his expense or if she really wants to be with him. When she tries to seduce Leo he rebuffs her saying that he is old fashioned and wants to be the one in charge. So Isabella gives in and lets him have his way. What will Leo do when he learns her secret? Will Leo leave her?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

As with all Shelley Munro books, this book did not disappoint. Shelley is an amazing writer and this book was great to read. The story of Leo and Isabella is a love story with a bit of shifting and suspense. You can’t help but fall in love with both of these characters and I think having a man like Leo in your life is the stuff that dreams are made of. Although this book is part of a series it can be read as a stand-alone. I especially love how you get glimpses of some of the previous books as well as some of the books in the series to come, but can still enjoy this book even if you have not read the previous books. A truly enjoyable read.

After reading many shifter books I've found one that packs an unbelievable punch. Having read earlier books in this series, I didn't see this coming.
If you want romance wrapped in adventure and intrigue, with more secrets than you could imagine, read this book. The storyline is awesome. The characters are amazingly written, to make them believable and their lives enviable. Getting lost in this series has been a joy, but this book beats the rest, hands down.
I seriously want to give this incredible story 8 out of 5, an extra 3 stars for its completely original... ssssh, sorry almost gave it away. Suffice to say, I kind of enjoyed the book and would recommend it to you.

I absolutely love all of the books in this series and this is Leo’s and Isabella’s story. Leo is a panther shifter who’s a bit of a playboy that is until he smells his mate but it keeps disappearing and then reappearing he realises that it’s Isabella. Isabella is an assassin she is there to keep Leo’s sister in law safe, she has wanted Leo for quite a while and now that she has the chance she offers herself to him but Leo knocks her back, Leo will get together with Isabella when he is ready after all he is an alpha. Another assassin turns up and Isabella will do what she has to to keep Leo’s sister in law safe but she never told anyone why she was there it was a secret. This is such an amazing story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Not really a stand alone as the story arc begins in book 3 My Peeping Tom. Love is deadly. Ladies man and black panther shifter Leo is frustrated. He wants his mate and he wants hew now. Even more frustrating, he knows she's close but can't find her. Meanwhile he's stuck babysitting a teenage girl with a crush on him. On a weekend jaunt, he finally finds his mate - Isabella- but things don't go as he expects. He can't get a read on her, even with his feline senses. Even worse he realizes she's keeping secrets but that doesn't stop him from give her his mate mark. When Leo has to head home because of a threat to his brother's mate, Isabel la's secrets are revealed - in a way no one least of all Leo expects. Can Leo convince Isabella that love conquers all.

I've read a few books now by this author I have yet to come across a story that I haven't enjoyed & this was no exception. Normally I love the comedic elements to her books that was absent in this story, but the story of these characters didn't really lend it to comedy, so I didn't miss it & probably would have found it out of place if it was there. I loved the unexpected & interesting spin on the average shifter story & love being able to keep in touch with how the already matched couples are doing. Can't wait for the next in the series.

Wow, what a tangled web Isabella has spun with her abilities she could rule the world, in my opinion. She has a heart for Middlemarch. Her profession and secrets isolate her, she seems content but her mate is hot on her....trail, lol. This is a very adventurous and sexy story, with some unique paranormal factors. As intense as the mystery is and as danger surrounds them, their support, acceptance and love for one another shines through. I had read the other books in this series and I have enjoyed them all. This has great characters, romance and intrigue. She was a chaemelian shifter, which is very rare, and could shift into lots of different people and animals. She was also an assassin and was chasing down someone when she found her mate. He was confused because she kept disappearing and trying to protect his family. There were complications, but the ending was great.

I'm really enjoying this series and like each book better than the last. I was quickly captivated by the story and couldn't put it down until I read the last page. These characters have many layers that are slowly peeled away until you get to know them. While this book can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading the books in order so you can get the whole story. I think you'll enjoy it more.

Isabella wants to protect the woman that protected her, she didn't plan on falling in love with the woman's brother-in-law. Leo takes one look at Isabella and knows she is his mate, but has secrets that she isn't willing to share until she considers her job done. This is a fantastic book with wonderfully written, interesting characters, and plenty of twists in the plot.

With the web of secrets and lies she spun, Isabella should have been a spider shifter. It was refreshing to see that even though she was an assassin, she also had the ability to make her own informed choices. And then there was Leo....what can I say about Leo? What I will say is that he was perfect for Isabella and she for him.

Leo got it hard, his mate turned out to be a mercenary, an assasin, and.... guess what? It’s the person who had a huge crushed on him. She was right under his nose and he could not smell her. Lol. Her love fo Leo changed her and with the threat gone, they could finally find peace in their home surrounded by their family.

Well written fast paced story with a different spin on shifters, suspence and steam
This was a fun read with a different spin on Isabella's shifter nature, and her job, and I loved it! It added great drama and fun confusion for Leo. When secrets come to light, though, there's good tension, suspense and action. This well written story kept me hooked, beginning to end and I'm really looking forward to more in the series.

A phenomenal read! The action-packed storyline is well-developed and exciting with suspense, intrigue, subterfuge, and secrets. This is an on the edge of your seat read that will have you eager for what is to come next. The chemistry between the characters is hot and off the charts; their coming together make for a very interesting read. This is a great addition to the series and comes highly recommended.

I have read a lot of these types of books lately and honestly found this one to be refreshingly different. Her writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created. Her descriptions of the characters abilities are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

I've read a lot of books written by Shelley Munro; she has done a great job at writing a fantastic book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
