Book #3 in reading order of events in book series, per author

There are things in bassist Jace Seymour’s past that he is unwilling to share with anyone. To cover his guilt and anguish, he seeks dominatrix Mistress V (Aggie) to temporarily placate his inner turmoil.

Aggie doesn’t have much use for men–besides the power rush she gets when they’re begging for mercy at her feet–but Jace isn’t like her usual clients. His cool defiance and unexpected dominance in the bedroom drives her to distraction and quickly steals her heart.

When circumstances threaten Jace’s position in Sinners, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place in the band while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds.

Adult review for erotic content
Hurt me. Take the pain away. Hurt me.

4.25 stars. The Sinners have come a long way. What started out back in book 1 as a fun romp between Brian and Myrna has now spiraled into a story of heavy burdens and skeletons begging to be let out of their closet.

For as much as I found the early feel of the series to be a lot of fluffy fun, I think there's something about where everyone is now that speaks more to me. Getting to see inside the heads of every band member and feeling their anguish has been an emotional journey. For as close as these band members are, even to the point of considering themselves family, each individual is struggling to find their place in the world. Long buried secrets are now coming to the surface.
He'd been with them for almost three years and they felt like strangers.

Jace's story surprised me. I never had much of a feel for him before. I guess that was the author's intention. He was the "little man" in the band - shorter in stature, with the face of an angel and a chip on his shoulder. Who would have known that the band's hermit was good looking, full of sensitivity, and could pack a mean punch?

I fell in love with Jace. It's no wonder that Aggie wanted to get past the surface to the heart of what was torturing him. I'm not sure if "therapy through domination" is the best idea, but I had less of an issue with it than I have when seeing the same scenario played out in other books. For some, this is a sensitive topic. BDSM has taken a lot of flack lately. People want to see it showcased in a normal and healthy spotlight, and not as some sort of tool to prove that anyone engaging in the lifestyle is screwed up in the head. Any time a book comes along in which a person seeks out physical pain in order to deal with internal issues, it makes people antsy and afraid of misrepresentation. However, I felt like it was handled in this book in a way that was less about BDSM itself as a lifestyle, and more about one person doing whatever he needed to do in order to keep his demons at bay. Jace wasn't a submissive at heart. He just needed someone to replace his inner pain with outer pain, and Aggie was there to provide it.
"You're not unwanted. I want you, Jace."

This was truly a story about letting the past go and learning to trust. I was moved by Aggie's unwavering devotion to Jace and how she wasn't the typical book heroine who let misunderstandings put a dividing wedge between her and the man that she loved.
What did love look like anyway? What did it feel like?

Now...onto the sex. It was hot. Ms. Cunning can write an entertaining sex scene. There was less sex in this book than in previous books, but when it was there, it was ON. And boy, was IT ON. Phew. If words could jump off the page and seduce you, then these would be the words to do it.

Do I buy that Jace (being as well hung as he is) was able to plunge into her backdoor that quickly? Probably not. But whatever. The getting was good, so I won't complain.

Plus, any book that mentions using gloves during playtime (a certain obsession of mine) and MOTHEREFFING FLYING ELVISES (watch the movie Honeymoon in Vegas and you'll get to check them out) is a winner, winner Las Vegas chicken dinner.

Hot Ticket did not disappoint, but I didn't expect it to. Olivia Cunning has this subgenre down to a science. Her greatest strength is her ability to write the hottest sex scenes I've ever read while keeping them versatile, plentiful, and still manage to not have them take away from the plot. That takes a hell of an imagination and talent. The way she writes the friendships between the guys is just as perfect. They are an incredible group of musicians and human beings. I've also loved every female that gets added to the friend group. I actually haven't been able to pick a favorite character, because I am so in love with all of them.

This installment focuses on Jace and Aggie. These two together are the opposite of boring, and they compliment each other perfectly. I adore Jace, his sweet face, humble nature, and love of kink. Aggie is a sassy dominatrix with a heart of gold and such a great character.

Basically, I'm head over heels for this couple, this group of characters, and this entire fucking series!! I recommend this book to anyone that's read the previous books in the series. Don't hesitate to one click this one! It's just as amazing as it's predecessors! If you haven't read this series yet, and you love rockstar romance, tons of steam, and a good time, go grab the first book in the series, Backstage Pass asap!

Hot Ticket is one of my favorite books of the year, and The Sinners on Tour is my absolute favorite rockstar romance series of all time!

5 hurt me stars
“Your beauty steals my breath,” he murmured.

“Your kiss steals mine.”

Jace a.k.a Tripod
"A hell’s angel, heavy on the angel."

Mistress V a.k.a. Aggie
"She was all powerful— in total control. A goddess. A demon. An angel."

Jace has some serious demons he's fighting, and being on tour doesn't help him at all...trapped inside the tour bus with the rest of the Sinners, he hides in the shadows, wishing he could just disappear. He's the youngest of the bunch, the brunt of all the jokes and pranks, he doesn't need to fuel their ball busting with his kink. There is only one solution, Mistress V, who he finds her dancing at the strip club...she specializes in corporal punishment.
“This is usually the part where the woman calls me a sick bastard, grabs her clothes, and runs out of the room naked without a backwards glance.”

“I’m not running.”

Mistress V likes what she sees in this cute dark angel, the look in his eyes should make her scared, but it's the look beneath that she wants to help. Having been trained by a true Domme, being a Mistress helps keep extra cash in her pocket. When you have a mom that blows in with the wind, anything extra is a blessing. Jace is the first client to test her control as a Mistress, this stubborn man is no more submissive than she is, he truly needs pain to survive. She's not one to bow down from a challenge, knowing she can give him everything he wants and more. This way the Mistress and Aggie both get what they want...
“I told you, your session is over. If you want to fuck Mistress V, she’s off duty, but if you want to fuck Aggie, she’s willing.”

With the Sinners on tour, they are working double time trying to make it up to the fans at the same time recording their new album. This is the first time that Jace is invited to participate in the creating process of their music, he has a few ideas but not so sure how well the guys will embrace his style. The guys are convinced the album is cursed, one mishap after another, with the latest leaving Jace unable to play... he needs a nurse and Aggie is more than willing to be there for him.
“I hate you for making me feel like this,” she said. She shoved him down on his back. “This needy, stupid, totally mixed up weakling is not me, Jace.”

Showing Aggie just how good it is to pass the control over to someone else, and have them be in charge of your pleasure is just what he needs. Fueling his own desires, to be wanted and needed by someone, helps him heal, even if he doesn't realize it yet. Blinded by his demons, he feels alone and doesn't know whats right in front of his face... a dysfunctional band of brothers, who think of him as a little brother.
“You’re trapped by your past. I’m afraid of my future.”

Hot Ticket is the third book in the Sinner's series, featuring their bass guitarist Jace Seymour and Aggie a.k.a Mistress V. Jace was such a tortured-tragic-quiet cutie, that you want to care for and do whatever it takes to put a smile on his face. But don't let the cuteness fool you, you know what they say, it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for...they don't call him Tripod for nothing. There was no bullshit between them, just complete honesty and the need to be there for one another. Aggie was a strong-sassy Mistress, one that knew when to crack her whip and when to kneel. They were a perfect compliment to each other.

Each book in the Sinner's series has taken me on a different ride, in the magical tour bus where your dirtiest fantasies come to life. I thoroughly enjoyed Jace's book, it was a perfect mix of kink, steam, laughs and drama. In this book we got to catch up with the other Sinner's like Brian and Sed, watch Trey still long for Brian and get to know Eric a little bit better, which is perfect because his book is next, he needed someone in his corner rooting for him too.

I liked this book but didn't love it. I think my love affair with this series has come to an end. It was a fun ride while it lasted, but I think it's time I move on...

Tortured rock star plus a Dominatrix equals Erotica with a splash of BDSM equals two lost souls coming together and finding what they need from each other... If that's what you like, this is the book for you.

Jace sees Aggie in a strip club during Brian's bachelor party and knows he must have her especially after seeing her wield her whip so expertly. Wanting more from her, she gives him her business card but before he can make an appointment, he and the rest of the band members are thrown out of the club and in a fight with the bouncers.

I have to be upfront and say that I wasn't really excited about Jace's book. He never really interested me until I read Trey's book, Double Time, and found out some things about him and Aggie. I was no way prepared for his story and all his heartache and his yumminess...and I loved every minute of it!

Right from the start you know Jace has some problems when all he wants is to be hurt especially when he finally gets to Aggie's dungeon. I liked how we got little insights into what happened to him slowly throughout the story and I really enjoyed all his 'connections' to the other band members. I found myself almost being like Aggie and waiting to hear Jace laugh and to read about his smile. And when I found out about Brownie, I definitely fell for him!

Aggie is the right girl for Jace...not that she is a dominatrix but that she doesn't back down when he shuts himself off, pushes her away or is hurtful. I liked that she stuck by him and pushed him to open up even though it was hard to do since her past is not the best either.

I really enjoyed both of them together. I loved how Aggie proved she would be there for Jace no matter what and I loved seeing Jace's wall crumbling down. It was great seeing them finally be themselves with each other! I loved what happened at the piano....

description

“Shhh,” Aggie murmured. “It’s okay. I know you don’t know how to respond. I understand. I won’t ever abandon you. I’ll be here whenever you need me.”

One thing I really enjoyed about this book is a lot of the other guy's stories are running concurrently with this one. There's a bit of Brian and Myrna's, a good chunk of Sed and Jessica's and a touch of Trey's. The only one that is missing is Eric's but we did get a lot of him in this book and it made me even more curious about him and how OC will handle his unique sexual "quirk". There's also some parts with the old bass player, Jon.

There's a lot of drama and a lot of action and I was really happy that the story had a good plot and wasn't all sex. That doesn't mean that there's isn't a whole lotta sex because there sure is but it seemed more balanced. There was some instances with Eric that I didn't really care for and I'm guessing it was more for the buildup of his story than anything else. One thing is for sure, it definitely got me more interested in his story!

Favorite quotes:

"Hello, C- note. Mama needs a new pair of boots."

♥ "Sometime in the long moments that he held her, she realized she needed this as much as he did. He gave her something no one else ever had. He gave her a reason to live— a future to look forward to and someone to love. With everything she was or dared hope to be."

In short, this book was AMAZING!!!!!! Had it all..
You fall in LOVE with Jace!!
I think Jace ties with Brain as my favorite Sinner and so does this book tie with Backstage Pass for me ;)

I reallyyyyy liked Aggie!!
She is the only Dominatrix I've read about after Nora and I throughly enjoyed her story line and character!

“Your beauty steals my breath,” he murmured. “Your kiss steals mine.”

Jace and Aggie were PREFECT!!!
I devoured their story, it was just brilliant! Amazing, connecting and full of dept!!

Jace, Little man.. fuck.. he is gorgeous! So much pain on those shoulders!! *sighs*
I loved knowing about him, His past, how he got into the band, how he decided he wanted to play and more.. why he likes the pain etc..
I totally fell in love with him.. he's got so much bottled up inside of him, he's built walls so high that he cannot see the people trying to break them and get to him..
Sinners are such an amazing family :')

Eric poked a bruise with one finger. “Just as I thought. Dude, if you want someone to hit you, just ask. I’d love to knock you around.” Trey laughed. “Careful. You’ll give him a boner, Eric.”

“O Canada! O Canada! How friggin’ cold are thee!”
“O Canada! O Canada! A population of twenty-three!”
“O Canada! O Canada! At least you have some trees!”

“Have you ever had blue balls?” Eric asked. She grinned and flipped her gaze to the ceiling. “Well…” “They’re not just for Smurfs.”

Eric too wins you over with him brainless humor!! I cannot wait to fall in love with him, can't wait for his book! :D
All 5 of them and their humour banter makes you chock on your own laughter!!
The author has a wicked sense of humor!!

There was barely any Myran, like she was there for one bloody scene!!!! :'( So I didn't like that part, appart from that I LOVED everything else about this book.
The second last scene according to me wasn't needed but maybe it will help to form something for the 4th book, hence it was included.

Do read this book, laugh, snicker, get emotional and fall in love with Jace!! ❤

BEST. SINNERS. BOOK. YET. I Can't say enough.
Jace and Aggie are wonderful. She is what he needs to get over his tragic past and realize how much love there is in his life. They really are the perfect couple.
The relationship is phenomenal. The sex is smoking hot. All the sinners we love are moving along with their lives in supporting roles.
Olivia Cunning nailed this book. Jace is everything & more than I thought. LOVED. If you're a Sinners fan...what are you waiting for??

“Men I Can’t Instantly Label”

And a review I simply cannot write that will express the love I have for Jace and Aggie’s story. I thought this was a beautiful piece of work from the Queen of rocker erotica, Olivia Cunning. I have been a fan girl for a while and have read everything Olivia has written. Backstage Pass broke my rocker erotica bubble a year ago and holds a special place in my heart, mind and you know where else!

Jace, that shy little man with such self-confidence issues can only feel when he hurts. The reasons for this pain fetish are so heartbreaking. But Aggie, an accomplished Domme has a way to make Jace feel and express himself and possibly love.

description

Not only do we get a fantastic storyline of Jace and Aggie, but it was great how all of the Sinners’ stories intertwined in this book.
So, for as harsh and depressing Jace’s story was, we also get a light hearted fun loving play with all of the guys.
Really liked the scenes with Eric and Jace and especially enjoyed Eric’s desire to watch and participate. I know other readers didn’t care for the threesome stuff, but I thought it worked very well and was some of the hottest sex I have read.
“She’d never felt anything like it-fingers and lips and tongues. Here. There.”

Jace is my new favorite Sinner for now. We will see how Eric ranks when his story comes out!

Every romance series has to include the obligatory BDSM guy nowadays. Thanks a lot 50 Shades of Shite! Personally, it doesn't do much for me. Call me crazy, but if I have to put on some crazy costume, go into a special dungeon, tie up and beat the crap out of my man for an hour, I'm going to be too tired for the sex. It sounds like a lot of work, and I'm pretty lazy.

yeah, seriously, I have a lazy problem. Ehh, I'll fix it tomorrow...

So, in this one, we have Jace, the bassist for the band and the guy who has some major guilt from his past so he likes to get beat up by women. And, there is Aggie, the world's worst dominatrix. He comes to her to get the crap beat out of him and she falls in love....

Aggie decides that Jace is now her boyfriend and she will follow him everywhere and smother him with her loving attention. You know, like all dominatrixes do with their clients.

So, Aggie was kind of ridiculous, but Jace was very sweet in an emotionally damaged way. I liked him and I really liked Eric in this book. His book is next so I'm hoping I will like his love interest better.

This book is good for those who are into the scientific study of BDSM. Not my thing, but it was still a fun enough story.

I loved this one! Although Trey will always be my favorite Sinner, this book is my favorite of the series so far! I adore Jace and Aggie!

“You’re wrong. You don’t deserve pain. You deserve to be happy.”

The Sinner’s are out for Brian’s bachelor party when Jace first see’s Aggie. Aggie is working, but she notices Jace right away. Because of Jace’s past, he needs to be hurt. To feel pain. Aggie’s job is to give pain to her clients, but Jace is unlike any client she has ever had. His tolerance for pain is different than she is used to. Aggie has a rule. Never get involved with clients. Jace doesn’t do relationships. With his past, he is not willing to risk being that close to anyone. They both end up breaking their own rules.

Jace is the bassist for The Sinners.
Photobucket
He is standoffish, he never lets anyone get too close. After a painful past, losing everyone he has ever loved- he just can’t open up to anyone.

Aggie is a Domme.
Photobucket
She ends up falling for Jace. It scares her, but she loves him and does what she can to help him open up.

Jace’s story was a little more deep and serious than the other Sinner’s. It was great to get more of Jace, since he is the quiet one in the group. I’ve always liked Jace, but I fell for him in this book! He was a tortured soul. I loved how he came out of his shell. Aggie was exactly what Jace needed. She figures out how to help him open up without pushing him too much.

Photobucket

And it wouldn’t be an Olivia Cunning book without major steam! Theres a whole lotta hot scenes. With Jace and Aggie, and Jace, Aggie, and Eric. Even though there was a lot of sex, there was also a lot of story, which was great.

I love this series and I’m looking forward to the next! A fabulous read!!!

Some of my favorite quotes:

“This is usually the part where the woman calls me a sick bastard, grabs her clothes, and runs out of the room naked without a backwards glance.”
“I’m not running.”
“This is usually the part where the man calls me a crazy bitch, grabs his clothes, and runs out of the room naked without a backwards glance.”
“I’m not running.”

“This is all my fault. If you’d never met me, this wouldn’t have happened.”
“If I’d never met you, I would have never gotten to hold you. Ill take the bullet.”

“I love you, even if you don’t think you’re worthy.”

“I’m not worthy.”
“You are. I’m not such a great person, Jace. I have a dark past too- things i wish I could take back, change, but I realized long ago that you can’t change the past. You have to let it go. Move on.”

“But you are not a freak. I happen to like it when you’re rough.”
“Thats ‘cause you’re a freak too. I think we belong together, Aggie.”
“I don’t think so... I know so.”

Mmmmmm. Five gloriously HOT BLAZING STARS! I seriously can't think of anything I'd change in this book. It had a fantastic blend of angst, sadness, heat (lord, did it have heat), romance, humor, twists and turns!

I guess my only beef is the out of order publishing fiasco with this series. I was reading about Trey's head injury and I had this weird sense of déjà vu. Until I realized this happened in a previous book I read. Shame shame shame. Such a good series to blow it that way.

My Jace- (this model is actually named Jase- woah!)
[image error][image error]">

My Aggy- (in her Mistress V attire)
[image error][image error]">"

Jace- only word for him is sweetheart! My heart bled for him. His bandmates love him but he just can't see that he's worthy of love. He's got so much emotional scarring from the verbal and physical abuse at the hands of his parents and their eventual deaths. He simply can only deal with the internal pain if he's experiencing deep physical pain. It's the only way for him to survive. As long as there's pain to overshadow his inner turmoil, he's good...Only problem is all women call him a freak when he asks them to hurt him or needs pain to get off. Until he meets Aggy, dominatrix at a Las Vegas strip club. Not only does Aggy have what it takes to beat to hurt out of him, she's determined to find out why he needs this and fix it.

I loved Aggy. Her determination to find out the core reason for Jace's need for pain and bury those demons. Her love for him was unfailing.

As a side note- Erik is a hoot! Cannot wait for his book! He was the humorous side of this book. His obsession with "watching" couples together but failure to have a one on one relationship with a woman is a great set up for his book. He was such a light hearted aspect of this book and it was refreshing.

This book was erotic. Had mild BD/SM, M/M/F, anal play.

Perfect recipe for perfect book! Bravo Olivia Cunning!

4 "Tripod" Stars

This book focuses on Jace Seymour, and let me just say, he is an absolute angel!

Jace, the quiet bassist of the Sinners band, always intrigued me in previous books due to his suitcase of goodies! Well, in Hot Ticket, we get to open Jace's treasure trove of pleasure and it is hot! In the beginning, Jace meets Mistress V at a Vegas strip club and propositions her for a private pain session. Jace is not a submissive and doesn't want to be dominated, but he craves the pain.

"When he took a seat at the table closest to her stage, he leaned back in his chair and crossed his legs at the ankle, as if he planned to stay for a while. Interesting. And entirely fuckable."

 photo bootedrocker_zpszkkzjlwv.jpg

Mistress V/Aggie is a dominatrix and a complimentary counterpart to Jace's need for pain. However, it is apparent quite early that Jace wants the pain because he feels as though he deserves it. While Aggie is willing to provide the pain, she also becomes the impetus for Jace to understand and confront his past in order to live in the present.

"Your safe word is mercy. Mercy, Mistress V. I don't need a safe word."

 photo jace_zpskgi16ug7.jpg

Jace's band mates are ever present in this book and adds to the camaraderie on the tour bus. I particularly enjoyed the focus on the friendship between Jace and Eric since it is integral to Jace's realization of his self-worth to the band and to himself.

"Her heart gave a painful lurch when she realized that music was his entire existence. His purpose in life. His reason for being."

 photo 3252943279e4dd5b625c0ab2b5845f6a_zpslizurnvm.jpg

This was a wonderfully told story of heartbreak, wilted expectations and the discovery of love and hope.

It also doesn't hurt that Jace is ridiculously hot and affectionately called "Tripod." ;D

Temporary List C: Men I Can't Instantly Label

That's how I felt about this book. I just can't rate it. It made me uncomfortable. But it held my interest.

It featured my least favorite troupe: the tortured pained hero. And this book took it to a whole new level. It was too much for me. And the beating made me very skirmish. I wouldn't have had a problem with it if it really was his thing sexually. Okay, I probably still would have had a problem reading about it. But as it was, it was a destructive harmful behavior.

She was eager to raise welts on his flesh and hear him cry out in pain. Wanted the ultimate prize he would gift her: begging her for mercy, begging her to stop.

"Then why? Help me understand, Jace. You know I'll hurt you physically as long as you need it, but I want to know why."
"It's what I deserve. And sometimes I think even pain is too good for me."

However, I really enjoyed reading about the Sinners. And I enjoyed seeing Jace heal and him and Angie finding love. I love the guys. It felt like meeting an old group of friends. I can't wait for the rest of their stories. And I did finished it with a big grin on my face.

I think I end up with saying that it was a good book but the smut part made me uncomfortable. Yes, I might be a bit of a prude *hides under rock*.

Thanks Vilda for reading it with me! <3 <3 <3

Blown my FUCKING mind!!!!

"Your kiss steals mine."

Oh Jace you stole my breath!!!

I am going to get all fangirl on everyone here. When Jace was first introduced in the first book Backstage Pass, I knew he was for me. I loved him just from his description. I was VERY eager for his story to come out... I mean, I was stalking the page waiting for his time to come....

As soon as I got this book in my hot hands I was jumping for joy.

An angel and a devil. Strange thing was, she liked both-the side that warmed her heart with affection and the side that burned her body with lust

Oliva Cunning you did not disappoint me what so ever. You gave me what I wanted and more. My god it was more but so so so damn good more.

He focused on the pain, needing it as a cover, needing it to blot the vivid pain that stained his soul black.

In the mirror, she saw his eyes were glazed with pain. Not physical pain. Emotional pain. Deep and scarring. Why did she have the sudden ridiculous urge to hug him?

I got everything I wanted in this book. The sex was amazing, the tourched fest was amazing all in between. When I thought I loved Jace enough this made me love him even more. I cannot get enough of this book. I want to read it all over again just to get an extra taste of him all over again. If you love The Sinners books then this one will make you love it even more. You get a side of Jace that he does not show in the other books. He is more shy and out of the bands way in the other books. Jace is the main focus, its all about him and Aggie. And I must say that I think she was a perfect fit into his life.

Brilliant and amazing. A must read!

Review is up!

Dear Friends...this review will be a LONG time in coming (like Jace) since this book is not out until February. But, and I mean but, if you have not started this series...YOU MUST read Backstage Pass and Rock Hard NOW! IMHO, do not read Double Time until the end (even though I loved that book and reviewed it, don't read it since it is really book 5). If you need reading material between waiting on this book and Rock Hard...I suggest reading her novellas of one-night stands with different band members (Amazon)...I loved them too! Rock on!

Ahhhh, you sweety angel...Jace!!!

The first half of Book Three lines up with the events of Rock Hard, told from the perspectives of Bassist Jace and his Aggie (aka Mistress V) - starting from the moment the Sinners walked into the Vegas strip club Paradise Found.

I wound up liking Jace a lot more than I thought I would. He was infamously quiet during the first two books, most of what we knew about him came from the other character's impressions of him - the mystery behind his personality actually made his inner turmoil more believable - that he had hidden himself behind an impenetrable wall.

Some of my favorite moments:

An Update for you: October 24, 2013
I stumbled across a Sinners website created by Olivia Cunning for the "band" complete with fake tour dates, bios, discography, and the infamous fan ink page. If you're a fan of the series its definitely worth checking out.

In addition, Olivia Cunning's Website has a selection of Short Stories and Deleted Scenes if you need to get a little Sinners fix.
There is a Short Story which takes place Christmas Eve two years before the book Backstage Pass called Welcome to the Family and features a story about how Jace met his cat Brownie.

Out of the four Sinner books I've read, I'd say this ranks number three behind Brian and Sed's stories. I've been curious about Jace since we started to get tidbits in the first book about how there was some kink hiding behind that sweet angel face.

Jace flat out broke my heart in this one. I think this is the first Sinners book that has centered less around relationship issues and angst, and more around the personal issues of the main character. It gave the book a whole different feel for me the previous installments. I have a feeling that Eric's book may be more like this as well.

There were certainly hints that BDSM was going to be part of this book (I mean Aggie is a professional Domme after all) - but this theme didn't dominate the storyline. This was, IMHO, primarily about s/m (sadism/masochism) rather than D/s (dominance/submission).

"He leaned toward her. Wanting to touch her. Taste her. Experience everything she was. But mostly, he wanted her to beat the ever-loving shit out of him. "

I'll be honest, while I read and enjoy some BDSM, true hard core masochism kind of freaks me out, and I've avoided it in the past. However, in this case, I "got it", and found the fact that Aggie could give Jace what he needed, to be a truly beautiful part of their relationship.

Poor Jace, I just adored him. I wanted to take him home with me an cuddle him,and tell him everything was going to be ok. I loved that Aggie knew how to break down his walls, and how she helped Jace connect with the other people in his life.

Jace and Aggie together were smokin' hot, and sweet at the same time. I kept waiting for more relationship issues to crop up between them, but their path together was pretty much a straight shot. That is my only complaint. I would have thought, given their backgrounds, and individual issues, that there would have been more drama between them, but there pretty much wasn't any. It was almost too smooth a transitions to couple hood, which somehow took away from my feeling of their true connection to each other.

I loved seeing the whole band again. I'm chomping at the bit for Eric's book now. I just have to know what the deal is with him wanting to watch other couples instead of getting a girl of his own. And I'm still holding out hope that the boys of Exodus Ends will get their own series.

Hot Ticket review take 2 because Goodreads sucks donkey balls sometimes and didn't save my original review.

In Hot Ticket we go back on tour with The Sinners. Here we get to know the quiet, tortured Jace and his Aggie. Aggie loves Jace unconditionally and helps him release his pain. Their story is one of pain, guilt, acceptance, and love. Their journey is one worth reading <3

You can't not mention sex when "reviewing" an Olivia Cunning story.
The sex in this book is HOTTT!
And it does include some steamy M/F/M action ;))

I would like to add how dumb a decision it was to release the books out of order. It takes away from the story already knowing what lies ahead. I feel like I was cheated out of reading the full character growth.

Why do it? Money? The story has such a fan base it would've sold well regardless. Dear Mr. Publisher - please don't do it again! That was some very poor decision making!

Anyhoo, I'm very much looking forward to Sticks' story!

Can't wait!

Let me start by saying how this book made me feel, actually, better yet, let me show you how this book made me feel;

First of all it was H.O.T.......

I'd even go as far as saying there were parts where.......

And then there were the bits that were so touching I......

Oh and don't let me forget these parts........

So now the sensible part......

This is the fourth book in this series and its definitely one of those series that just gets better and better. I can happily say that I am totally and utterly now in lust with Jace. There was a time when I thought Trey was the only kinky man for me but then I met Jace and suddenly I wish I could launch myself into this book and beat the crap outta him.........in a good way of course.

This is the story of Jace, bass player of Sinners, the shy and mysterious guy who's never felt 100% part of the band, the guy with a closet full of deep dark secrets and a fetish for pain. Enter Aggie, a domineering, feisty, strong-minded dominatrix, and an exotic dancer to boot, who is more than happy to provide Jace with all the physical pain he desperately craves. Only problem is as Aggie starts her innocent game of Dom and Sub she realises she is developing feelings that run much deeper and she soon becomes determined to help Jace face the demons that push him towards the physical pain he constantly craves as a punishment for his past sins.

“Am I hurting you at all?”
“Not enough,” he whispered. “Make me bleed.”

This book had a great combination of really hot steamy sex scenes that got me more than a little hot under the collar, versus the more emotional, deeper side which exposed these characters and allowed me as a reader to feel closer to them. It was great to meet up with the other characters again, I loved how the author allowed us to see the relationships blossom between Sed and Jessica and Brian and Myrna through the eyes of Jace and Aggie and I especially loved reading more about Eric and seeing his more vulnerable side exposed, so much so that I am now super excited to read his story.

So my reason for the four stars as opposed to five is because I wish I could have read more about Aggie's past, we had a glimpse at the reasons why she was led into a life as a dom, but this was very brief and I wanted to know so much more.

That's said, I really enjoyed this one and cant wait for the next instalment, where I think I will end up saying.......

Well, there's rocker romance and then there's rocker porn. I'm woman enough to admit I like both. But when the two are masterfully combined, ooh baby - that's the real rock&roll!

I don't remember why exactly I abandoned this series but I remember it had something to do with Jace. I love the guy, he's so adorable, but I'm really not into the pain thing and I wasn't excited for his book because I thought I wouldn't enjoy it. God, was I wrong! Not the pain, or the dominatrix thing Aggie was into, but yeah, pretty much everything else worked for me just fine. Hence the rating))

P.S.: I can't wait for Eric's book. Poor guy needs some good loving.

P.P.S.: The sex scenes deserve their own Guinness entry, because YOWZA!

OMG! Self professed Olivia Cunning Junkie, here to report, Hot Ticket is intense and I loved it.

We’ve briefly interacted with Jace Seymour in Backstage Pass and Rock Hard. He’s always kind of been the cute quiet one. We’ve known there’s something dark just beneath the surface, but not exactly sure what it gonna be. Knowing he’d be spending some quality time with Mistress V, who we met it in Rock Hard, I was a little apprehensive. For whatever reason my mind was thinking, she’s a sexy evil Domme… so that must make him… a submissive? How’s that gonna play out?? Of course I found myself slapping my forehead later– duh! Jace is one hell of Masochist. What an unexpected surprise for me! *wiping brow*

When I started the Sinners on Tour series (which I LOVE!) I was convinced Trey Mills was the end all… and I read Double Time, so I found myself thinking, well what’s left for the Sinners? Jace and Eric we’ve only gotten snippets of their personalities, but not enough to fall in love. This book is the bridge that was missing in Double Time. After reading it, I am 100% convinced Sourcebooks made a big mistake releasing these out of order. We needed Hot Ticket to connect all the band members and have all the arcs in place. If you’ve not yet started this series, I encourage you to save Double Time for last, as it was written. You’ll be happier for it.

Aggie and Jace are a perfect match. Jace is a tortured soul, looking for his anchor. He *needs* Mistress V to feel sexually satisfied, but he needs Aggie to heal his soul. That’s a huge commitment for anyone and the fact that Aggie embraces the challenge full on really connected with me. Aggie working as Mistress V, spends her time bringin’ the pain; I really liked experiencing a female Domme. She’s tough, she’s strong, and no one pushes her around as Mistress V. Her work as a Dominatrix is lucrative, and an opportunity kick some butt and get paid to do it. Because most of her clients are submissive, she’s never had an issue with getting involved emotionally, Mistress V is strictly business, until she encounters Jace.

Jace, needs pain to find release. Seems simple enough, but it’s much, much deeper and darker than that. Peeling back the layers of Jace’s stage presence to find the boy beneath is a difficult and painful path. One Aggie meets full on and never gives in to distance Jace places on his emotions. As a lover, Jace is one of the most considerate, sweet, truly passionate men I’ve had the pleasure of spending an evening with between the pages – and that is seriously sayin’ something. Seeing his difficult past and his self inflicted pain merge with the intense healing was truly emotional for me. I felt empathy I seldom find in books. Jace grows significantly as a character in Hot Ticket and truly finds his place in both his personal life and with the band.

We also got the added bonus of spending some quality time with Eric Sticks in Hot Ticket. He’s more than the resident prankster he’s put out there for us, and I can’t wait to see where Olivia takes him, I’m eagerly waiting for his very own book!

Whenever I read an Olivia Cunning novel, I feel like a Peeping Tom. I see, taste, touch, smell, and hear on a whole nother level. Sensory overload feels like a flippin’ understatement. I could speculate on where she comes up with her material, but I’d be similar to an accountant pulling numbers out of his ass. What I do know is that I often feel as though I’m about to do something illegal, and before the day is out, I’m liable to get caught. So when I’m staring down the barrel of a gun at the two individuals who just walked through my front door, I’ll hope and pray that they are wearing five inch stilettos, corsets, black lace thongs, and that they’re packing bullwhips on their luscious hips, instead of Tasers. As long as that’s the case, the blue uniforms and dark sunglasses will work out just fine.

I’ll admit I have the second book in my hip pocket, but what intrigued me more was a stripper/dominatrix named Mistress V who wears red leather boots in her pleasure room, and has enough curves to stop a semi at sixty miles an hour on a rain slick highway. I mean…damn. No, it’s more like double damn. And what had me really cheering from the nosebleeds was her convincing turn on the merry go round and humanizing V to the point that I nearly stood up and cheered, even if I was the only one around.

Yes, you can laugh at me all you want, and I might even deserve it, but all I saw were glorious curves and bending and twisting and bodies intertwining…and you can probably fill in a few of the blanks. I could practically feel the sexual excitement through my Kindle. I know it sounds crazy, and possibly even ridiculous, but if erotica has you racing to the bedroom faster than a thoroughbred, you’ll want to hop on this horse and ride it all the way to the ground. Guys, you need to grab this for your lady friend. Trust me, you’ll thank me later. In fact, you’ll be sending me Christmas cards for the next fifty years.

Sure, the dialogue may sometimes resemble partially hydrogenated cheeseballs; the rock stars and female sidebars may take a few of the more blatant stereotypes to heart; the plot might be as predictable as a one-way flight to Houston; and the subplots may not always be fleshed out in the same manner as Mistress V aka Aggie. But this is one train where you can thoroughly enjoy the ride. Just make sure you close the door to your sleep car.

3 stars only because I don't ride a tricycle...

I'm not going to deny that this book was sexy, funny and all sorts of naughty. I'm not going to deny that I was instantly immersed in this fast paced sinful read. I'm not even going to deny that I had a serious girl hard on for Jace. In fact, I may be in love!

So what's the problem? Problems?

One was that I really didn't care for Aggie. I saw her as one ginormous cliché. The BDSM in the story seemd very displaced. Aggie was never a dominatrix unless she was encompassing every single domme stereotype in the book. It made it come across as more of a facade instead of an actual part of her character. It also took most of the book for me to even come close to accepting Jace into any type of submissive roll. Because he wasn't. He was just a man trying to work through his demons.

Now perhaps my inner prude is banging on the closet door trying to get out, but there should only be one hot dog per bun. Sex is not synonymous with jello. There's never room for more. The whole situation made me think less of Jace. My Jace. How could he share. However, this is just my personal opinion. You may already have on your helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads ready to jump right on that tricycle. Wave that ménage flag proudly; I salute you. It's just not for me.

Despite my issues, Jace totally made this read more than worth it. Certain aspects of the story may not have been for me, but Olivia Cunning definitely knows how to suck you in and take you for a ride!
