Have you ever thought about what it would be like to have no World Bank or international banking? Or to have no World Trade Organization? Many people don't know that the world even had a bank because nothing has happened to it. Without the World Bank, our society would not be where it is today and would not have very good trade economies with other great countries. This book talks about how the world is changing effectively and how the World Trade Organization plays a big role in the “world of banking”. It also discusses protests and debates that have been a key issue during big-time crises that have happened. I can relate to this book because it gives me a great perspective of what the “world of banking” is like and shows me how things can change dramatically over a short period of time. You should read this book if you want to know anything about World Banking and how so many countries are trying to globalize. It will help you get a better understanding of how the world has changed from over the past 100 years in terms of money and trading. A very interesting book and guides you through the the years step by step.

Globalize It! (The stories of the IMF, the World Bank, the WTO - and those who protest) was a very interesting book in my opinion. Brendan January goes through many arguments, both for and against, trends in globalization. The book looks at how globalization is becoming larger and shows different passions behind many world issues. I myself liked the book because I got to see the 'other side of the story' to many issues that I had already formulated my own opinion to. I did not like how the book told so many different issues. I was hoping it would more thoroughly discus major issues. The book provided a lot of information that I never knew and was very factual yet interesting at the same time. I would recommend this book to anyone involved in world issues and ideas, and anyone who is open to others opinions.
