About the author

Robin Wasserman is the author of the novels MOTHER DAUGHTER WIDOW WIFE (June 2020) and GIRLS ON FIRE. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Tin House, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and several short story anthologies. A recent MacDowell Colony fellow, she is also the New York Times bestselling author of more than ten novels for young adults and teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Southern New Hampshire University.

I loved how Shaggy and Scooby broke into a school, ransacked the place, stole (and ate) all the food and then just left without any criminal charges or guilt for what they did.

It is this book that I blame for my life of crime these last two decades, I was radicalised by the actions.

We just love all things Scooby-Doo, so whenever we find another book starring this lovable canine at our local library, we have to borrow it. This book is in a series of beginning reader picture clue books and are simple to read, with lots of rebus pictures scattered throughout the narrative. Our girls read this one to each other and then our youngest asked me to read it to her again. It's a fun and short story, perfect for Scooby fans.

Nick liked this book quite a bit and new immediately that the 'ghost' was a broom with a sheet over it!. He's a fan of Mystery Inc.'s hijinks.
