This may have just become my favorite book by Calvin, other than the Institutes. A fantastic set of sermons. Filled with vivid imagery, harsh words for the enemies of the Gospel and love for the flock. By reading this one can get a good idea of what Micah is about. But this book has the added benefit of helping one's preaching. A very good read indeed.
This is a lively and powerful translations of Calvin's Sermons on the book of Micah preached in late 1550 and early 1551. Calvin's gifts as an expositor are clearly on display here.
