I'm hesitant to give this a rating before I take my exam, but the information is clearly presented without ever getting obnoxiously dense (especially considering the subject matter!), so if I fail, it's nobody's fault but mine.

Like the previous Exam Cram book I used to study for my A+ Exam, I find the way the subject matter is presented - a mix of text, examples, images and study questions - an effective way of delivering the incredible amount of information this particular exam covers. It is also extremely helpful to have the study questions presented on CD in the form of the Pearson Test Prep app. This is a much more effective study tool than flipping back and forth between the hard copy test pages.

It is worth noting that this exact book covers the information presented in a now-retired version of the exam. I guess that's what happens when it takes you three years to get your butt in gear. If you're looking to start studying for the Net+ exam, be sure to purchase the updated edition that covers either the N10-006 or the newly released N10-007.

Good for a cram book. The information was not laid out in an efficient comprehensive order for me. Most of the examples felt incomplete. The analogies the book makes were poor in my opinion. It is not a book to start learning computers; it assumes you have A+ knowledge.
