Heather Jamison wants to speak to teen girls in a down-to-earth way. What is the Real Stuff in our lives? What are the basic rules for living life as a Christian teenager in today's world? Ms. Jamison communicates truth in a friendly, no-nonsense way that brings to mind someone sitting next to you having a conversation.

First, she discusses rules. Involving trust, God, and the Bible, where these rules are found. She uses examples to help clarify the points she is making. Then she talks about rags. Clothing, non-verbal communication, and how visually, males and females react completely differently to the same things. The message about God and His best is conveyed in a non-judgmental, but straightforward way. Finally, she discusses relationships - the main thing on most minds! What are God's plans for our relationships, and how can we avoid common pitfalls?

The tone of Real Stuff is casual and fun, and a study guide with questions is included at the end. This would be an excellent choice for youth groups or girls' Bible study discussions. The combination of someone's real-life experiences and Biblical truth makes for an understandable lesson about life and living it right.
