Takes place a a ranch in Arizona where a travel agent is supposed to be investigating some sort of sexual assault claim, which does not bode well for a 1980s era romance. But the writing was good so I wont along with it. However, she is continually harassed by the male protagonist who, for some unfathomable reason she is attracted to. The male protagonist is a pompous ass, with a sexual assault allegation against him who cannot take no for an answer. He tricks the heroine, pulls a stunt with this car creating a dust twister at a ranch, she rightly does not like him, and should listen to her gut. She keeps telling him to slow down ,it takes time to build trust in another person you don't know (true, scientifically its been proven it takes months to start really trusting others). He can't apologize if anyone offered him a million dollars and acts like a toddler instead of a grown ass man. And she cannot "bring" herself to believe that the SA accusation against him is true, yet he CONTINUALLY forces himself on her, touching her grabbing her kissing her without her consent. On the plus side, the original sexual assault allegation (it was someone else who was also a thief) was true
