Daniel was the sole survivor of a road accident that propelled three young people into the afterlife. Now he's back, and ready to convince his friends and family that Jesus is their only hope before they face judgement after death. Profoundly changed by his experience, he's nevertheless shocked to discover that other people can't share his certainty. In writing the story of Daniel and his friends, as they wrestle with the arguments for and against Christian belief, Adrian Holloway has given readers and youth leaders a unique weapon in their spiritual armoury. There really is nothing quite like this.
This book is amazing and could change your life! I’ve read this as a Christian of over ten years but really enjoyed it. It should appeal to a young readership and is entertaining as well as Biblically sound.
If you still haven’t committed to Jesus, please don’t delay. Don’t let it be too late.
A deeply compelling book which uses fiction as a backbone to discuss and catalogue the argument for God. The sheer volume of footnotes evidencing the claims throughout the story make very a very compelling argument for accepting Christianity.
This book follows up "The Shock of Your Life", but you don't have to read that book to get into this one! It's about a boy who has had a near death experience and what happens next. If you're interested in issues such as "Do all religions lead to God?", "How can a loving God allow suffering?" and "Hasn't science disproved the bible?" these questions and many more are looked at in this book. An amazing book, whether you're religious or not, it's a great one to read. There's also a gripping plotline that goes on inbetween the questions that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Read this and you won't be dissappointed.
Wow. I love this book, it's interesting and it puts everything out there. A lot of interesting questions are answered and it also shows how people can act toward Christians. I have read it three times, and i'm going to read it again!
To be fair I didn't finish the book. I picked it up from a charity shop as a quick read. The cover didn't give anything away so I read the first paragraph and thought I would give it a go. If only I had read a little more. It's just not for me.
