About the author

Betty Ren Wright was an award-winning author of children's fiction including The Dollhouse Murders, The Ghosts Of Mercy Manor and A Ghost in The House.

Known for her ghost stories and mysteries, Wright published 28 children's novels between 1981 and 2006, as well as picture books and short stories. Prior to pursuing her career as a full-time author in 1978, she worked as an editor of children's books.

Wright lived in Wisconsin with her husband, painter George A. Fredericksen, until her death in 2013.

ANOTHER WINNER FROM BETTY REN WRIGHT

I am definitely an adult but love the books from this author that I have read. And that is quite a few. This one isn’t a ghost story. Ms Wright understands children.

A quick read about a girl experiencing life changes and how she deals with them. I can identify with this girl as no one wants to think that they can be replaced in their grandparents' eyes.

Emily, Emily, Emily, can't you just be content with the endless juice and cookies? Instead, you terrorize new city grandmama and proclaim eyebrow rising statements such as, "If it feels right, how can it be sin?"

Sally, you can do better with friendships as you publish your new bestseller, as Emily is fixated justifying her sinful activities.
