definitely prompted me to think more deeply about the concept of god. some chapters were more interesting than others and certain views were presented with more balance than others. felt like the author's bias was present is some parts much more than others.

Interesting read on how the christian God was viewed by some of the great thinkers of the past and how views on God have evolved into what we have now. This book does a good job of covering all different viewpoints from Plato and Aristotle to even covering the views of atheist such as Richard Dawkins. It shed some more light on one of my main questions about the Bible: Who decided what stories to include or exclude from it.
Lots of interesting stuff covered in this book. I should of started taking notes sooner, I started taking notes in the last 1/3 of the book.

I really enjoyed this book. The authors planted tongues firmly in their cheeks and then dove into a murky topic. When attempting to understand something beyond our capacity, the addition of humor tends to not only be acceptable, but also necessary to lessen the sting of the realization of just how little we actually understand.
