There’s still too much to learn about our two main characters. I have a feeling we’re going to see it all in the final chapter or two... kinda disappointed.

Suzus Geschichte kam unerwartet, auch ihre Motivation. Ich glaube kaum, dass die schwarze Klasse für Wunder sorgen kann. Aber auch, dass sie ein faires Spiel gibt, wo sie die Bombe hätte einfach nutzen können.
Hat Toka jetzt getötet?
Und drei weitere Täterinnen weg. es wird immer übersichtlicher. Wahnsinn als Motiv ist tatsächlich ganz gut dargestellt, auch mit den Auswirkungen.
Aber Hanabusa! Was ist das? Ein Superheldenanzug?

I think out of all the backstories we got so far Mahiru’s was the most heart wrenching. She was the best example for "people change"

In the penultimate volume of Akume no Riddle, we get some more big fights with the Black class getting smaller and smaller. This time, it’s two fights in one volume which I liked but the fighting scenes were a bit clumsily drawn so that I didn’t get everything which was happening. Tohaku falling out of the window and surviving was such a tense moment but it didn’t get clear how she was able to defeat Inukai. Also, I’m still wondering why the class exists in the first place.

We also get some more backstories about the girls. Shuto has an illness which causes her to not age, and Mahiru was abused as a child. She supposedly has a split personality; I really didn’t like the demonization of mental illness with her character.
