História per se incrível, e foi contada de um ponto de vista interessante. Contém cenas fortes, mas que com certeza são mais suaves do que a realidade passada. 1/3 do livro foi contexto, 1/3 foi histórico dos antecedentes da batalha, e o último 1/3 foi um pouco da batalha em si. Preferiria que contasse mais da batalha com o ritmo dos últimos 2/3, mas é um livro excelente de qualquer forma!

La historia es estremecedora. Y cuando uno recuerda que todo lo que ahí se muestra realmente ocurrió durante el siglo XIX, el impacto es mayúsculo. El único detalle que me generó algo de distancia es que a veces el relato se enreda un poco.

I have always wondered about the origins and aspects of the Baha'i faith,
and unfortunately this book does not fully answer anything, :)
but it gives us a glimpse.
This was not a smooth or easy read,
the art was wonderful in it's expressiveness, but occasionally unclear in the narrative sense.
Yet it was still an interesting and moving story.

This is not a history book. It is a snapshot of a time of great change as seen through the eyes of a young Persian man.
