Smokehouse and Dani’s story
Holy Hell I fell down this amazing rabbit hole, I fell in love with all the members from the previous chapter (The Vikings MC) and since we met a bunch of the guys from this chapter, I knew that I would fall in love with them as well
I love it a biker and a teacher……..
Danica/ Dani was the quintessential good girl. She had been married for six years, since she turned nineteen, and straying had never crossed her mind. The same couldn’t be said for her lovely husband. Well, her soon to be Ex-husband.
Dani had a one-night stand after serving divorce papers to her husband …… Yep you guessed it she had a one-night stand with a sexy biker ……. Only trouble is she finds herself in a sticky situation……. What a twist
Smokehouse/ Knox was one of the club’s notorious womanizers…. he suffered from abandonment issues from his past , so he believed that If he left before they did he wouldn’t get hurt and he’d been doing this for years…… One night with a stranger and he’s willing to give up his crown … Smokehouse wasn’t immune to her charms.
OK I’ve learned my lesson in the previous series not to read the Sneak Peek……. Only cuz in case I didn’t pick up next book right away
I just love the banter between all the guys
, and I really can’t wait to read Butcher-book 9 and Toxic book 10 in the series……… Which honestly, I am looking forward to reaching that far ahead.
I am dying to see what the rest of this crazy over size men will do next

I'm really enjoying this new Vikings MC chapter so much! Smokehouse was well written, super fast paced, and a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride. Smokehouse and Danika both just had so much baggage to overcome before they could find their HEA. The chemistry and banter between them was 🔥🔥🔥, and neither could deny their attraction. Just a great all around read that will check all of your boxes.

This was a really good read, but the cliffhanger is killing me!!
Anyway, this was written very nicely, the storyline flowed really well with lots of interesting details and events, they never seemed to have a break lol. The chemistry between Smoke and Dani was great, I really like their relationship development.
Now I’d say this series was an interconnected series but you can read this as a standalone, I did and still understood and got the bigger picture after all.
However, since the storyline does continue from book to book and the characters, literally every character possible, had their own role and story, were frequently mentioned and heavily influenced one another, it’s probably best to start from the first book of the series, but like I said earlier, you can totally read this as a standalone.
Therefore, it killed me a bit that this ended with a cliffhanger, or a HFN for the couple. I was so excited to see what would happen next, for the club of course, but more importantly, Smoke and Dani’s little family, guess I’ll read the next one to find glimpses of them there.
Also, did I mention how pretty the cover was?? The guy was, and still is, so hot that made my reading experience 10 times better, I had so much fun envisioning him as Smokehouse, gah so good I love it!!

I like how this brought story forward more. I enjoyed how their story slowly progress together. Also, the pregnancy test scene was hilarious.

First Impressions
Smokehouse is the story that features "Smokehouse" and our heroine is Danica. Both of them have a one night stand that results in a pregnancy and thus chaos insues for both of them. I did appreciate that this one didn't turn into a secret baby though, that she goes to Smokehouse right away and that there was no question that she wanted the baby. This is actually a pretty heartwarming romance, there are some MC elements and things involving her ex that put some conflict into the story. It had some thrills and dangers but also lots of heart, some decent spice and great MC connections.

Summary
Its been over a month since Danica and Smokehouse had their one night stand. She is shocked when she finds herself pregnant, and she knows who the father is. She is in the process of getting divorced but her ex is dragging his heels, but she had one fling after being seperated. When she arrives to the clubhouse to let Smokehouse know of the truth, he doesn't take the truth well and things get wild but eventually they are forced into a situation together to protect her from her ex but also so that they can work on being co parents and getting to know each other better. But there are outside forces that could destroy what they are building together.
What I Loved
Smokehouse was a wonderful story, and I really respected the way that the author team wrote this story. I do get nervous for a accidental pregnancy stories, but in this one here we have a fun set up. I couldn't get enough of their dynamic. I adored the scene where she tells him the truth, it was hilarious and his brothers were no help like usual lol I just love the banter between these brothers, they are such a hoot together and honestly no more than children sometimes. haha But when trouble hits them, they stand so strong together. What I really liked though was seeing how Smokehouse takes responsibility once the shock wears off. She comes to live with him at the clubhouse, and they connect together romantically. Seeing their relationship grow in the way that it does, was packed with lots of heat, some heat and poignancy when you least expect it. I also appreciated that there was an actual plot involving the MC. And there were some factors that I didn't expect to see here that I thoroughly enjoyed including some aspects of the mafia.
What I Struggled With
Nothing much it was a solid story.

Smokehouse was a well written MC romance that delivered on some charming dialogue, intense suspense plots that keeps you thrilled and a relationship that digs deep into the heart.

Along with her surprise she brings a husband who won’t sign divorce papers and a feisty family. Knox has baggage about love, but also knows he can’t mess this up. Enter in the drama with the DA, the man who won’t sign the divorce papers and now the mafia and this book has danger and problems from all directions. The ending has some great scenes where favorite storm other MCs join in the festivities and two new couples are showing signs it might be time for their story. Dani’s sister seemed attracted to a member but then I got thrown by another interaction with the president, Liam/Lockout. Butcher and Toxic were a hoot and are my favorites. Their grouchy and surly craziness covers up the best and sweetest moments. So I am excited to see what happens next for the MC with the danger/war and the couples who haven’t got their HEA yet!

Smokehouse and Dani’s story is a perfect addition to the Viking MC series. He’s the clubs forever single member who has the tables turned on him when the one night stand he wants more of leaves without a trace. Dani, after being freshly separated from her husband, goes completely out of character and enjoys a one night stand with someone she thinks she’ll never see again. However, life has a way of bringing people together again and their journey is amazing. This story has drama and lots of hilarious banter that will make it impossible to put down!!

Smoke and Dani’s story is just perfect. Smokehouse is the forever single member of the club, not wanting to be tied down with an old lady or kids. Happy to play the single cool uncle title, until an unexpected one night stand makes him want more. Dani’s looking for a night out after separating from her husband, leading her right into Smokes bed. This book grabs your attention from the first chapter and just pulls you in deeper. You get the perfect mix of laugh, love and tears throughout their journey to their happy ending.

This was a slow paced, slow burn book for me but I only think that because it felt like their story was a built up for the rest of the series and dealing with two big enemies.
I’m excited Hellfire and Kit’s story is next but I also want to put this out to Cathleen Cole… You should do a MFM book with Butcher and Toxic. I absolutely love them as side characters and would love for the to get their own book.

I am dying to see what Pixie is up to. I think she is working with the enemy. So many time Dani has caught her sneaking around but with so much going on, she keeps forgetting to tell Smokehouse. Love just creeped up on him when he was least expecting it. Then again he wasn't expecting Dani either plus their plus one.

MC romances have become one of my favorite tropes, especially the Vikings MC series. I just loved Dani and Smokehouse's story and can't wait to see what happens next. This book was so good and so hot that I read it on a day.

Unlike most stories, this starts after the main characters had had one passionate encounter that leads to some surprising news. Dani and Smokehouse's story is cute. It does actually take them time to get to know each other and gradually build mutual trust and understanding. The intimacy between the two evolves and when the time comes, it becomes evident how much they mean to each other.
What really stands out in this world is the tight family unit that the club offers and it was nice to see how the group thoroughly supports each other through thick and thin. I find the series quite enjoyable and although sometime things happen fast, the authors do allow for the characters to develop and form a solid connection. Looking forward to the next story in the series.

This was an ok read for me.
Dani is trying to get a divorce from her cheating husband when she ends up getting pregnant from a one night stand with a biker, Smokehouse.
The things I didn’t enjoy were my personal taste. One is manwhores, especially ones that have been in love and burned before. I’m sorry romance books, you’ll never make me like that trope. Thankfully we don’t see him with other women in the book, but we have constant reminders. 🙄
I also know it’s a series, but I didn’t like that the end seemed incomplete. Bad people are still after the heroine, and we don’t see the outcome of that, them having their baby, or anything. I know the events will continue, but the main focus are other characters so I wish it wrapped up more!

I’m gonna be honestly I HATE the accidental pregnancy troupe, to me it’s the worst.
But I have to admit I really enjoyed this book I wasn’t a fan at the start but it slowly grew on me.
I was so excited to read about smokehouse I’m disappointed about the troupe but he was worth it. And the small moments you get with all the past book couples melts my heart.
Hush and Seek my god they are still my number 1.

Smokehouse & Danica: triggers-domestic abuse (verbal and psychological), infidelity, money laundering, assault and kidnapping. Danica is trying to get a divorce but her husband is making it difficult. She has a one night stand with a guy from an MC. Little did she know how that decision would turn her life around. I am so enthralled with this series and I love seeing characters from the author's other series appears and it's explained how they are connected. Such a good book and Smokehouse is SMOKING! 🔥🔥🔥

Motorcycle clubs are supposed to be like one big family and for the Vikings MC that couldn’t be more true. Whilst this is predominantly Smokehouse and Dani’s story the author does a fantastic job of including the entire club in the story and showing how important everybody is, with some of the sideline characters being responsible for my favourite moments in the book (Toxic and Butcher will forever have a place in my Viking loving heart and I can’t wait for their books)
When Dani and Smokehouse have a one night stand neither of them expect it to lead to more, only a few weeks later and one positive pregnancy test it seems like fate has plans for them. As they set out and get to know each other and both deal with issues caused by their past relationships it becomes apparent how perfect for each other they are.
Switching between both Smokehouse and Dani’s POV really helped to get into their heads about how they were feeling. It was really refreshing to have Smokehouse and some of his brothers talking about feelings and emotions because so often MC men are portrayed as gruff, rough and cold but one thing about the Viking men is they care and they care hard. Although she is a relative outsider Dani fits in perfectly with the club, she already knows a few of the women due to her teaching job, and when the club are in trouble she stands up for them even when it causes her discomfort. They are a fab pair and I loved reading about everything from their cuddles to their spicier moments.
It wouldn’t be an MC book without drama and danger and this book has that with the storyline following on from the previous book in the series whilst also creating new problems to keep the story fresh and gripping. The women are just as kick-ass as the men and I love how protective they are of their club too.
I love this series and it was wonderful to see some characters from the previous Austin series be included too as their worlds are interlinked and I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next.
When Dani and Smokehouse have a one night stand neither of them expect it to lead to more, only a few weeks later and one positive pregnancy test it seems like fate has plans for them. As they set out and get to know each other and both deal with issues caused by their past relationships it becomes apparent how perfect for each other they are.
Switching between both Smokehouse and Dani’s POV really helped to get into their heads about how they were feeling. It was really refreshing to have Smokehouse and some of his brothers talking about feelings and emotions because so often MC men are portrayed as gruff, rough and cold but one thing about the Viking men is they care and they care hard. Although she is a relative outsider Dani fits in perfectly with the club, she already knows a few of the women due to her teaching job, and when the club are in trouble she stands up for them even when it causes her discomfort. They are a fab pair and I loved reading about everything from their cuddles to their spicier moments.
It wouldn’t be an MC book without drama and danger and this book has that with the storyline following on from the previous book in the series whilst also creating new problems to keep the story fresh and gripping. The women are just as kick-ass as the men and I love how protective they are of their club too.

Wow what sensational additional to Vikings MC chapter. Honestly, I absolutely love this series! Every time I get a book from this series i read it in 1 sitting as it’s always always a great read for me!!
We have accidental pregnancy trope, which was well done. Smokehouse is our resident singleton, who isn’t ready to settle down. Dankia and Smokehouse both have tons of baggage to work through if they want to make their “relationship” work.
Smokehouse has domes of drama, action and was super faced paced. I think this may be the best one yet?
The banter and chemistry was on point. Throughout, I was laughing, crying, angry and on the edge of my seat at some super tense moments.
As we get further along I begin to love Toxic and Butcher even more. They are super super loveable and just all ready funny guys😍😍
I couldn’t recommend this Motorcycle club series anymore and I CAN NOT wait till the next instalment!!
