The first word coming out of my mouth after finishing this one – WOW!
What did I just read? FYI, if you are spoonie and you don’t like dark humor, this one is not for you :) I'm a #spoonie and I love it!
The narrative was going so fast, so I couldn’t leave this book. It has a witty and mocking take on the struggles of living with chronic illnesses and explores the world of online influencers within the "Spoonie" community. Definitely a book with a unique perspective and thought-provoking angle.
I get that the characters are supposed to be despicable, but it was difficult to read due to a lot of ping pong conversations between ignorant, unlikable people.
This was a satire so you need to read it knowing that the author is making fun of the influencer community. It’s quite crazy but believing what an influencer posts is too so that is what is being satirized.
I have read this twice and I am still not sure what I read. Hard to follow, no real plot, more of just ramblings. i have gone and read some of his other books. They are all a chaotic mess of words and sentences. None of the articles talk nice about the books and what people say after the interview shows he is not a nice person. He says people are too dumb to understand and enjoy his books.
