What a treat! The story of the Parton family from Dolly's eldest sibling Willadeene, complete with Willadeene's poetry and lots of photos of generations of the Parton clan. Find it, get it, snuggle up with it, and journey to the magical place that produced Dolly Parton.

I liked learning about the Parton family, and I loved seeing the pictures, but the book wasn't very well organized and some of the stories seemed incomplete.

Recently saw Dolly Parton in concert and wanted to learn more about her life -- found this book at the library - it was written by her sister -- it was interesting to some degree, lots of pictures, but seemed to romanticize their upbringing a bit too much. It jumped around a lot and the stories didn't alway seem complete.

I thought this book was heartwarming. You get to know the Parton family a little better.
