This book reveals the shocking truth of how we have abused the very ground we stand on, the water we drink and the seas that cover our planet. Water, land and sea combine to produce the food we eat. These natural resources have become critically degraded at a time when our expanding population needs them we must act now. This accessible, mass market bestseller offers radical new explanations, arguments and solutions to the way we live and treat our planet. This book offers conditional hope for the and the condition is that certain actions are taken now rather than postponed. Hope without action is just a comforting illusion.
Engagingly written. Not too preachy. Well researched. Well structured. I enjoyed it and found that it provoked thought.
Only odd thing is that each major paragraph has lots of spacing after it, making it appear sometimes that each thought has been grabbed from the ether at different times to the preceding/succeeding paragraph. Also means the book is probably 15-20% shorter than it appears, but that said it is a good length.
A great scientific review of environmental challenges that our planet is facing. "At some point you will decide to become vegan". Had really brought me a lot of fear and lots of thinking. Great book!
