Incredible stories about North America before it was America.

This is an anthology of frontiersman who wrote accounts of their trials and tribulations. If one likes true accounts with no sugar coating then this book is the one for the Reader.

I particularly focused on Captain Spencer Records account (I am directly descended from him). Everything he writes is to the point and he names people and places and events with uncommon clarity.

Good book for those select few who like true frontier accounts.
