This short and easily accessible (free at Howard University's website with her published works), this essay ought to be read by absolutely everyone. She upends the hypocrisy of western thinking on race, calls out lynching, inequality, and of course slavery and oppression, and then ends with a devastating comment and quote:

"...believers. Today we see his living presence in some of the least
of his children rejected, repressed and forced outside the pale for
no better reason than that a certain pigment is not preferred by
those who make up the books.

Inasmuch as ye have done these things to the least of these my
brethren ye have done it to Me."

Please download and read her work, so that the thoughts of Dr. Anna J. Cooper may not go continue to be forgotten. And may we heed her warning.
