a very inspirational book of love, persistence and success
Pat Roles is a truly remarkable woman whose love and devotion to her three blind sons
assisted them to lead as 'normal' a life as possible without being restricted by and stereotyped by their afflictions.

Very inspirational. I think some young mothers of the current time who complain they can't get their house work done with one child should read this book. Makes you very grateful for all the mod-cons of today and the government assistance you get for everything.

While undoubtedly an inspiring story, the method of telling is pedestrian and the details of accomplishments less interesting than the way those accomplishments were achieved would have been.
