Being the youngest tool isn't easy. No one listens to Nick, and everyone says he's dull. But when a fire erupts on the farm, only the brave little saw springs into action. Soon they'll be calling Nick a heroand the sharpest tool in the shed.
This is probably the worst book I've ever read to my kid. It is full of bad puns, strike one. The main character, the saw, is mercilessly bullied by the other tools. The saw character can only be redeemed by an act of heroism, and in the end, he continues to assume the bullied role by drawing attention to his own flatulence. The saw has no internal sense of self worth.
She enjoyed it anyway.
